re: Druze/Kaplan. Fair enough - but slightly mystified that Druze aren't more widely available... we're all about to get this awesome new mini, but she can only be used with one army? What? This seems crazy. The thing about getting bounty hunters all the time - sure, they're boring, but they're widely usable at least. If the Druze hacker is Haqq only, there's gonna be a lot of those hitting eBay.

No profile changes except fueurbach loses xvisor and drops to 39/1.5 Honestly I'm having a hard time justifying them now over janissaries. +1 armour doesn't really make up for being larger, slower, and unlinkable. Except for maybe the rare occasion when you want to shoot over a s2 obstacle. I love the models though so they'll keep finding a place on my table.
Fauerbach weapon changes give it more of a place, but not as good as the APHMG. So a drop in points seems reasonable.
With Jannisarys, if I want a HI link, that's their job. If I want a tougher solo peice, that's the Azra'ils job.

Also really interested in these guys. And coincidentally I just picked up a box of them in that last miniature market blow-out... I'm thinking a duo with a doc and an HRL. Go for objectives and keep people away. If they do get close both the doc and the hrl have chain colts.
Sekban are great. I use them any chance I get. I know a lot of people prefer Odalisques, but I really like Sekban. My go-to in QK is a Haris with HRL and Doctor, but I'm not sure if I'd drop the Haris and go Duo. The AP rifle comes in real handy, and the +1 burst is really nice for the HRL.

So, anyone else getting the feeling that we'll be seeing an Asawira resculpt in the near future? Or possibly a full on box set?
For you guys that are getting all this new info, do you have the books in front of you or something? Is there any word on the Ahl Fassed? Are they completely out now, or will they be getting new rules to make them more useful?
With the Asawira/Muyib/Muyib Haris being a thing I think we're more likely to see a new Asawira blister than box.
Expecting to see the new Ayyar HI soonish as well although who knows.
People are posting scans/pics on reddit and Facebook, and just giving info out on the Infinity boards.
No mention of the Ahl Fassed. I'm assuming it won't be in HS and if it reappears will be in one of the two future sectorals.

I've got a painted Spitfire Asawira I'll be using quick smart for that combo, but I won't be buying any more Asawira because I fully expect a box with Spitfire, AP Rifle, Boarding Shotgun and Doctor. The Asawira models are nice, but they're teeny tiny compared to recent sculpts. While they're in light powered armour, they're slimmer than new Ghulam.

* Symbiont armor is no longer instant-death when hit with fire. Now, only the Symbiont armor falls off instantly. * The little Symbio-mate pokemon can be sacrificed in the inactive turn to instantly negate all the damage and effects of a single order. Not hits. The entire order. * The little Symbio-bomb pokemon can be sacrificed as an order to initiate a Pheroware attack similar to a hacking attack. One-time use per pokemon.

Probably the case for Kaplan! When it comes to Infinity I'm somewhere in between brand new and brand spanking new so there are sure to be mistakes in what I type.

Word is Duo is entirely separate in the way Haris is, and is not capped. As long as the units have Duo, you can have as many Duo links as you want in addition to a single Core link and single Haris link.

So, some updates while I've got them in my head and the official forum is experiencing its usual specialness.
PanOceania:
ORCs are now available in the Shock Army and NCA. That opens up a Haris option for both, although someone with the book was saying the Shock Army version of the ORCs has access to Fireteam: Duo while NCA doesn't.
Blackfriars are available to both Shock Army and NCA as well. AVA 1 from what has been said.
Shock Army now have three Steel Phalanx characters in addition to their Naga options. They seem to be the Steel Phalanx characters with a bit of ties to the OSS as well. Only one I reliably can recall is Teucer though.

Blackjacks: 10th Heavy ranger Battalion. Also known as the "Winning Hand" most lethal resistant and toughest unit in the USARF. Deploying these guys in the AO always means victory. God luck Ariadna players don't let the blackjacks down, no pressure. Heralds of their enemies deaths, lament of women and children, top level unit of USARF, USA, USA, USA, and so on. They are the elite of the elite. they do list several options of where there name may have came from but no one knows for sure.
Hassassin Ayyar: Undercover operatives operating outside areas where the spy network of the Assassin culture reach. Lone wolfs. Ayyar means vagabond in Persian. Ayyarun are nothing more than rumor, no camera has ever recorded one. They stay myths because myths can't be killed.
Also, Geckos are now cheaper and have Fireteam: Duo. 2 Combi Rifles, Chain-Colt, Panzerfaust is now 0 SWC and 53 points. Mk12, Chain Colt, Blitzen is .5 SWC and 54 points.

Although at this point, I'm just excited to see what the Locust look like. I speculated over on the official forums that they might be something like the CIA's "action teams"; i.e. deniable operatives that get activated as necessary to do some really nasty crap. Feeling kinda vindicated on that front.

So, the Uhlan went up 3 points in cost. I thought the Uhlan was supposed to be a very basic TAG. It's more expensive than the Tikbalong now.
Locusts are basically a special unit within the Hexas, it sounds like. I was under the impression that the Hexas were already basically the CIA of PanO.
Shikami are pretty much JSA mercs it sounds like. Neat. Weren't ORCs supposed to be PMCs as well?
