Nobody will believe private emails. Over the last few years there have been 50+ "OMG guize OFFICIAL fw/gw ruling email!! " basically until they make their own errata on their own website, don't bother.

They are all the obvious answers. Good job by Forgeworld as usual.

Someone's private Tumblr, website, jpeg of an email they received, etc. is not generally considered "official" until it's on the company website or in a printed book. Anyone can make up the answers or spoof an email.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

On moon miranda.

The problem is that FW isn't putting anything "official" out, and email answers tend to change depending on who's answering the email. With IA1:2E I emailed them a series of questions for FAQ, never really heard back, but then someone else got them back in an actual typed up PDF with answers a couple months later, but the one they eventually ended up putting on their website was another document entirely!

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.
New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts. |

Pretty much. This isn't an ideal situation, but it's the best answer we're going to get. Like it or not GW is not doing FAQs anymore.
(And you can thank me for some of that IA1 FAQ, since several of those questions are copy/pasted from things I asked on their facebook page, back when GW at least occasionally acknowledged that the internet exists.)

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |
