So, like many I want to take the dive into 30k. I play Space Wolves in 40k and they are the reason I started playing. But now I want to dive into 30k and I feel like it is only right to play them as my legion.
I have bought nothing, but was thinking... BaC (like everyone else) but maybe just buying a couple of the Space Wolves upgrade sprue to get the Chapter icon.

Also, what other units should I get? I was thinking 2 20 man tac squads with extra CCW and an Apoth attached. Any other people with some advice I appreciate it.

this is 30k, you will get told by some to go "spartan, fire raptor, sicarian, etc. etc.) but thanks to 30k's relative balance, build what you think looks cool. for now I would stick with 'generic' things until we know for sure how the wolves (filthy TS killing traitors) will end up playing. I.e. if they have any limitations, and what their legion traits are.

Given that the Wolves aren't that far off (in relative terms at least) I'd focus on staple units. A couple BaC sets kitbashed liberally with 40k Wolf kits would be a great core to your Legion in readiness for their Legion specific releases.

Thanks for the replies! I am currently more in the planning phase. But this has helped me greatly. Have never ordered forge world or used resin really. But i look forward to starting this project. 30k seems more balanced and relaxed, which is kind of the way I'd prefer to play

But dont let that stop you from buying those units as they are actually quite good.
