Had a game the other day against an ork/imperial knight list with my gladius strike force. his force had that 500 point forgeworld stomppa, with dudes inside repairing, and the rest filled with imperial knights.

My list really struggled with it. we are getting ready for a big tournament. Other gladius strike force players, how are you dealing with imperial knight heavy type lists without over tailoring your list to not be able to handle other types of lists?

Besides mass grav cannons whats your other farm of anti-tank?

You honestly don't need much anti-tank outside of Grav. Just take a couple of Melta Guns for the odd fortifications and/or Void Shields that pop up from time to time.

I agree that's why we need more specifics, typically the extra melta that I include in my list is good enough. If he is having issues I would like to know as I to use a strike force!

Well I think the common strategy is to put a bunch of razor backs out but I've considered a list that used mostly rhinos. You can shoot a grav cannon out of a rhino so tac a tactical grav cannon on your 5 man squads. Your devs too - (just take 2 grav cannons). Assault squads take some razors with assault cannons and then take a CAD to get some centurions or throw on a sky-hammer for some precision dakka. I think that list would proably handle knights better than a bunch of razors with assault cannons. just my 2 cents.

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

Ignore the stompa and kill the other stuff. Try blocking it's movement.

SHWs are pretty useless once you block them in with your rolling terrain, ie, all those free vehicles you have. Bog them down in tarpits, and play the mission, that's how you win. Every game isn't kill points, you don't have to table your opponent turn one to "win". You just need to play smarter, to play the mission, and to let your opponent defeat themselves.
