Since Invis religates you to snap shots, and Markerlights can be used to buff snap shots, the answer is Markerlights can improve your shooting against an Invis Unit.

Invisibility becomes even less useful in a scenario where you have multiple units with Markerlights. Say you have two 8 man Pathfinder units and a SkyRay that isn't planning on firing missiles this tun (not uncommon). The SkyRay fires it's Markerlights and gets lucky with a hit. The first Pathfinder Team needs a 5+ to hit. Maybe they get 3 hits. The last Pathfinder team needs 3+ to hit. They get 5 hits. At this point, you can give a +4 to hit to any other unit.
Give those tokens to models with Twin-Linked weapons and all of a sudden you have a 98.07% chance to hit that invisible unit. Sure, it takes a the cooperation of 4+ units, but that's how the Tau Empire works.
A single Markerlight token given to a unit with Twin-linked weaponry giv es a 55.6% chance to hit an invisible unit. It's not like you need the cascade of hits outlined above to get a decent chance to hit.

Yes, but remember that the marker lights themselves will require a 6 to hit as normal for snap shots (the same as shooting marker lights at fliers if you don't have skyfire). Any marker lights that are lucky enough to hit can then be used to buff other units shooting (including other units equipped with marker lights).

You underestimate Tau shooting. The scenario I outlined above uses a relatively small percentage of the army to generate the Markerlight tokens. You'll still be dealing with ~1500 points of Tau shooting in an 1850 point game. That goes a long way. Invisibility just isn't very effective against a Tau Empire army that's making use of Markerlights.

(My bold added to notredameguy quote, to emphasise a point) To make it clear, this is a very clear house rule. Unfortunately, not all of their houserules are so obvious, which is why it would be good for them to label them as such.

No idea who Brajimovic is or how I could watch a game that apparently has already taken place, but I don't think you understand how statistics work. If I say you have a 75% chance to hit, I mean that out of a million tries that you'll hit about 750,000 times or so. I don't mean that out of 4 you'll hit 3. A single game is too small a sample size, but a 75% chance to hit does mean that for any given die throw you'll be more likely to hit than miss. There are always anomalies. You could easily have 4 misses in a row.
