I mean, sure, a more open-ended Deathwatch and Genestealer Cultist kit, but the fact that we're getting them in plastic is amazing.

So for 40K I just can't think of anything.

In general? Plastic BattleTech minis, done in HIPS, with Omni-Mech kits getting all the options.

I thought those were coming "soon" with the Alphastrike stuff?

Pretty much. Except for those shelved Heresy Miniatures plastic troopers to battle the 'stealers.

And more sci-fi and fantasy in smaller scales, in the vein of Epic and that 10mm BoFA box.

I'm sooo, sooo sorry.

That page is fascinating. I'm glad you linked it! There is one section that hints at a connection between kobolds and dragons, perhaps DnD writers used those legends as the basis for their kobold.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Exodites. Dragons in the style that Karol Rudyk is making but in plastic. Feral wild elves, not evil but properly intimidating. Inq28 box set. Infinty's whole range in plastic.

Right now, I'm planning to build two small armies to play in a medieval fantasy setting. First one would be a renaissance-esque army, inspired in WHFB Dogs of War. I already have some (converted) pikemen and gunners from the WHFB 6th edition starter box (the Perry ones), so it wouldn't be starting from scratch. I'll probably go Perry for more pikemen, gunners/crossbowmen and some cavalry, although MOM's incoming halberdiers are a must for the paymaster's bodyguard. Second one has to be another mercenary force, just with an oriental flavour. I'm thinking about MOM's light infantrymen for the core spearmen, then sarmatian cavalry from Warlord's historical range, and perhaps some additional infantry from Fireforge's new russians when they get released.

All of this after I manage to paint a decent chunk of the CSM I still have left, of course. The grey mountain needs to go down!

Progress is like a herd of pigs: everybody is interested in the produced benefits, but nobody wants to deal with all the resulting gak.

GW customers deserve every bit of outrageous princing they get.
