Mono GK just can't compete.
AdMec Grav is on a slow, non- DS, short-range platform with a 4+ save. Dreadknights can and will devour them.
Astra Plasma is in the same boat. Chimeras help with survival, but NDK can pretty easily open them in the shooting phase and hide in CC. I don't see what large blasts and ignore cover have to do with NDK?

Who needs large blasts and plasma? Killing a NDK with lasgun fire is the best experience I have ever had in warhammer. I somehow believe that the pilot was blinded by laser pens and tripped on his own sword.
Yeah - FRFSRF is actually hurts. I've lost a full NDK to that before for just a 30 man.

30 inch range relentless grav is bad?
A NDK doesn't average a kill on a chimera even on it's side armor with shooting...not even factoring in things like night fighting - basic cover cover - and camo-netting. Even if you destroy it - you are taking 3 plasma likely double tapping you - youll take at least 2 wounds. Then some laz cannon fire brings you down from a few other squads - or some storm troopers deep strike with plasma guns on you. Or a vendetaa comes out and taps you with 3 TLLC. In any case - GK can't afford for their NDK to die. You've probably only got 3 of them and most armies can kill 1-2 of them a turn no problem. If the NDK had riptide survivability GK would be a competitive army - but alas - NDK are basically as tough as 4 terminators vs most weapons.

4 terminators that can't be pieplated. That's a pretty nice advantage. But plasma/melta/grav are pretty common. Starcannon is extra lulz is any Eldar still use them. I'd consider a few, because the scatterlaser fails against DK and Riptides.

An army of terminator EQ isn't that good in the current meta filled with anti monster / anti terminator weapons. But GK rock in close combat vs most of those armies. Multi wound models just melt at the sight of force weapons.

What are these multiwound models you speak of?

If I had infinite time and money, my second list would totally be 6 X LV 2 primaris divination psyker guard. 4+ invuln blobs with FRFSRF misfortune.... In that context, misfortune is the most aptly named pskyer power in the game.

Spawns, Riptides, Tyranid monsters,(dark) Eldar monsters etc. The only thing that gives them a chance it the gargantuan rule, all others just get insta gibbed by all GK squads.

I was being sarcastic. BA have essentially no multi-wound models worth fielding. I guess against GK, dreads are actually an advantage.

Nah - I don't bother with starcannons when I play eldar. I take a unit of vauls wrath D cannons. Essentially GK can not handle this unit - nothing in their army can engage outside of 24 inches and a 3+ save is good to make it through their shooting and hit back with D weapons...plus it costs way less than a NDK. Then OFC theres the wraithknight I always bring too - with a int5 D sword with 5 attacks on the charge...I do give him a single star cannon - hes the only unit I give a star cannon to.

It was a thought because the starcannon is way better vs 2+ armor in the open. DK are often in the open.

They lack in ranged combat. Medium and close combat for them is best.
