Ahahah nice one.

Can it absorb any penetrating hit thanks to its hot, sweet and smooth dough on a 4+?

- 22nd Rhayé Storm Division : 2000points (Spetsnaz-themed IG)

- Ordo Xenos : ~700pts

Cakehammer Cannon :

R: 24'' S1 AP4 Heavy 3, Overfatting, Ignore Cover

Overfatting ; a unit hit by overfatting shots is drown in succulent cookies that no warrior except the most incorruptible can resist.

Any unit hit must take a moral check with its Ld value modified with the number of hits scored by the Cakehammer Cannon. If failed, every model in the unit is wounded on a 4+. A unit that suffers at least one casualty must Go to Ground and eat cookies.

Haha, very nice. Though at that scale by the rhino, it looks more like a landraider. I would fully support playing with ones food here.

It actually looks like it would hold 10 marines though. Maybe its the "true scale" rhino .

Nicely done. It has headlights, hatches and h-exhaust pipes.

Excellent idea, cool execution

Progress is like a herd of pigs: everybody is interested in the produced benefits, but nobody wants to deal with all the resulting gak.

GW customers deserve every bit of outrageous princing they get.

You forgot the stormbolter, smoke launchers, and searchlight.

But that is one awesome cake. I keep thinking of doing some 40k baking, but was going to restrict myself to purity seal cookies.

Top job. But we must have a taste in order to be sure it hasn't been corrupted by chaos

If they fail once, they become Bulky, if they are allready Bulky, they become Very Bulky. If they are allready Very bulky, they get a heart attack.

That's because it's a 3rd edition Rhino where all those had to be purchased as extras

It’s Ultramarine. You know it’s vanilla.

What kind of cake would the dark lords of chaos eat?

Tzeench - Marble
Khorne - Red Velvet
Slaanesh - Chocolate (the darker the better)
Nurgle - Stale.

*slow clap. All the slow claps*

Unfortunately, the Rhino was hit by some sort of D weapon (big ass knife).

'ing scratch builders. Looks like a classic case of modelling for advantage to me. The advantage being, you give your opponent diabetes.

But seriously, it's so cute! Well done.

Quick, get the techmarine! Or ice cream.

My main problem with odd shaped cakes is structural, and how much flavor I’m willing to sacrifice. My cake of choice is a buttermilk chocolate cake, which is a very soft cake that does not take well to shaping. I have to switch to a pound cake when I want to do anything too extreme. In a similar vein, The cream cheese based frosting I like will never get the smooth look of fondant. Tastes much better though.

Playing in the kitchen is one of my other pastimes. Nice to see other cross-hobby enthusiasts.

Yeah, I love working with fondant icing, but most people tend to peel it off and just eat the cake. Not the tastiest of toppings. I need to try and make my own marshmallow fondant. Apparently it works the same but tastes much nicer.
