I am waiting for Forge World to release the emperor model ... post fight with Horus. You get a model on the golden throne.

Kind of hard to do battle while powering a galaxy-sized lighthouse with just your mind from 50,000 light years away.

And the Emperor was never "almost choked to death" or "being beaten" by said ork. Read the passage some time. They were both actively struggling, and the ork was attempting to choke him out. It's like an action movie where the main character and bad guy are rolling around with their hands on each other's throats. No one is "dying" or getting their ass beat until someone gets the upper hand.

This story was retconned via an e-story released by the Black Library a couple of years ago. In the new version the Emperor slays the Ork without any assistance from Horus.

How in gods name will they balance him though, I mean it's the most potent psychic creature that's ever lived, mastery 8? Harness on a 2+ rr1's? They got there work cut out for them with him.

I envision something like this:


If he dies, every model has to take a LD test with -5, and if they fail are immediately removed from play, and the enemy gets 5 Victory Points, and you have to send your model back to Forge World, to be replaced by a golden chair.
