So I like just about all the Core choices for the Incursion detachment but since I don't play mono-god, I am not sure which to take. I also don't have the models to do ANY of the formations, so advise would be great.

---Here is what I own:
Belakor, BT, LoC, KoS, GUO (could demote all these Greater Daemons to Princes for the Tetrad)
Khorne Jugger Herald & Tzeentch Dics Herald

10 Bloodletters (icon & champ)
20 Daemonettes (2 icons, 2 champs)
24 Horrors (2 icons, 2 champs)
6 Nurglings

24 Flesh Hounds
10 Screamers
3 Plague Drones/Beasts (converted to stand as either)

2 Soul Grinders (I have spare Defiler legs and could convert a 3rd for the Grinder formation)
---------------------

As you can see I am quite short on any of the Core formations. I know the Nurgle one is the cheapest, but 7x Nurglings is a big much and I would have to get a Nurgle Herald and 15 more Nurglings. Same with the Slaanesh one, I love Daemonettes but I am not looking to run a Horde of them. I would want to just get 12 Fiends and a Herald to complete the formation, but then I would be playing Fiends. 5 Hounds > 3 Fiends in almost every way.

That leaves me with the Khorne or Tzeentch formations. I have Herlard for both and only need 11 more Flesh hounds to get the minimum for the Khorne formation. I wouldn't mind getting a split of Flamers and Exalted Flamers to fill out the Tz formation.

So with what I have, what do you think is the better option: Khorne or Tzeentch?

You're better off with cad.

I am getting that impression. I will be running a CAD alongside this, but Daemonic corruption and +1/-1 WarpStrom just seem so good on paper.

I have decided I am going to pick up some VC Dire Wolves to "flesh" out my Hounds...get it?

I can paint them a bit more "rotten" and they can dual as Beasts of Nurgle when I am not using the Murderhorde.

The +/- 1 IS good, but really, your going to end up using the 8, or 6 option a lot. Then its a 1/6 chance to do something, and really it wont do much.

Your going to end up investing to much into troops that cant kill anything, in hopes to manipulate the warp storm into killing stuff that youll gimp your army too much.

The only way I can see it be useful is with full nurglings, and they just run around being overwatch magnets, as they can't be overwatched. Toss in a herald with the bell and FnP, and hope your opponent fails some toughness tests.

Problem is, that all costs 450pt, you could drop the FnP on the herald and bring it down a bit, but you are still spending 400pt on nurglings.

i played today at tournament the murder horde at 1500pt with 2 BT, i did 2 wins and a deaw but....well i didn't see a so viable formation, ok fast ok hit hard but you really suffer a lot medium/small fire who anyone can bring into play, then 5-6 hounds cant do really a lot, if you face lot of 3+ armors sometimes they just bounce and do nothing beside lost combat.
You need multiple charges so use 2-3 unit of houds to take out just 1 single unit in PA or with high melee skills , playwithout psyc support is hard

I personally like Tzeentch for their mobility. 8 units of 3 screamers turbo-boosting all over the place and 1 larger screamerstar unit for the Herald. That's a decent and highly mobile base for an army. Then add Fateweaver, LoC and the D-thirster as the offensive focus of your army and I think you have a fairly competitive army.

He;s asking about the Core Choices for the recently released 'Incurion,' which doesn't include Screamers.

For the OP, I think the Khorne Formation's your best bet. Get some more dogs, add in some crushers if you'd like, and then take the grinders as your Auxiliary. Then, use the horrors to cap your backline objectives in a CAD, using obsec to make it very hard for your opponent to steal them.
