I like it, but there is some things I might add-

Use the logos lectora RoW, swap your chaplain for a MoS, if I',m correct your Ok for the limitation on vehicles since each HQ and the apothecary counts as a infantry squad for calculating how many vehicles you can have. The benefits are small, but having your volkite calivers and melee people getting counter attack or BS 2 overwatch, shooting at fliers, and invised (Lorgar!) people is really nice.

Where do you expect your HQs to go nonetheless? They seem kitted out for melee, but the only people they can go along with areyour support squads (your 20 man tactical takes up all the slots in the spartan)

The Spartan holds 25 people, I believe. But thanks for the feedback! A master of signals would be a great firepower boost.

I can dig it. Are you at all worried about the support squads in Rhinos? Seems like they might have a hard time getting the most out of their weapons (as they can only shoot 2 each when embarked)
Perhaps dropping the extra centurion, and then splitting the volkite support squad in half putting each in a rhino. You'll get more bang for your buck and more MSU is always good with the Logos ROW.

Just my .02. I'd love to see your army when it done. I'm working on a Heresy era Ultramarines as well. I'm looking at similiar builds to you, swapping predators and vindicators in for the sicarans and spartans though. The armoured breakthrough ROW looks pretty fun.

As Ultramariens your legion rules don't super benefit a mechanized play style, since "Interlocking Tactics" only benafits models with the "Legiones Astartes" rule. When that is the case, I suggest to consider using the new "Armoured Breakthrough" rites of war to help compensate for this if you want to run mechanized.

By running it you can take a non-compulsory HQ BS5 command tank, and all your rhinos and preds become fast tanks. Even if you don't run the auto-cannon pred troop choices, being able to get Sicarans in the elite slot helps free up room in the heavy support slot for more tanks is another nice benefit.

You wouldn't need to change your list at all the run it, as the requirements are prety light. All infantry must start the game inside a tank, can not have more flyers and skimmers than tanks. You already met both of these.

Edit: Also noticed that you took heavy Bolters on your rhinos. From my experience Heavy Flamers have worked out alot better for me. Helps alot ageist more CC focused armies. Just a suggestion.

Damn you internet and making me want to buy Predators. xD

The idea behind this list was that the Ultras drive up to their objectives, dismount, and then defend them with all of their smurf might. The armored breakthrough does give me ideas, though. I forego the Spartan in favor of some preds and a lightning.

You would still be able to do that with armoured Armoured Breakthrough, you just get fast rhinos when you do it lol.

If you drop the spartan, you would still need a transport for your praetor to start in is the only problem. So adjust your list accordingly. A command squad or vets in a rhino is what alot of people end up going with, but that doesn't mean their aren't other options. It's just one of the cheaper ways to do it both points and money wise lol.

The thing about Armoured Breakthrough is it's only auto-cannon turret preds in the troop slot. If you want any other turret option you must take the preds in your heavy support. This can still work out fine since they still get Fast, and your scicarians get moved to the elite slot anyway freeing up room in the heavy support slots for stuff like predator executioner and Infurnus. I also would like to point out this rite of was also means Fast-Tank Vindicators.

Armoured Breakthrough is a pretty flexible rite of war for any legion looking to run a mechanized list.

edit: I actully realized I missed a part of the rite of war. I think you might have to use Auto-Cannon pred troops as your Compulsory Troops in the rite of war re-reading it.... So you would need to drop some stuff to take atleast two of these. I was wrong about not needing to have to change your list. Sorry about that.
