I've done quite a few different forces over the years from every sort of Eldar army for various clients. Some of them like to do a whole army at once, but a lot of my clients prefer to have me paint their forces in smaller doses..

Here is one that I added to in small groups (a unit here, a vehicle there). So I've never seen these minis all together.

The color scheme used here is mostly black leather, which I think suits Dark Eldar pretty well. To off set the large amounts of black, they all have bright (anime inspired) hair colors that really stands out. I also used a much warmer skin tone than the Dark Eldar are often given (it has a bit of magenta to the shading).

I have a few other Eldar and Dark Eldar forces I'd like to post all together soon.

Love these!
Really like the crispness and contrast that the hair provides, and the OSL on the Archon is sublime - took me a second to realise that it wasn't just a photoshop filter providing the glow!

I'll need to get you a group shot, odinsgrandson, especially with the Harlequin allies added in.

odinsgrandson did an incredible job customizing the unit of Grotesques so that they weren't all line dancing in the same pose. Those guys are still one of my favorite units in this force and look sooooo good on the game table.

The osl on that archon is breathtaking. Sublime work. I love the glowing hands on the other units, the transitions are impeccable

Thanks.

I think I'll start up another thread with all of the Harliquins together.

Looks awesome. And the anime hair really works for these models. I feel like that's a style that could quickly become tacky, but you made it amazing. Very impressive.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Amazing work. It’s nice to see OSL done so well. Most of the time it gets used it just looks like someone went crazy with an airbrush. But well done it brings the mini to life.

Thanks.

I don't own an airbrush, so I haven't had to cover up any airbrush looks to my minis.

I can see how they'd be great for base coating, at least.
