This thread has to be some kind of ironic joke, right?

Progress is like a herd of pigs: everybody is interested in the produced benefits, but nobody wants to deal with all the resulting gak.

GW customers deserve every bit of outrageous princing they get.

Agreed. Eldar are in desperate need of buffs.

I think they need to update Iyanden to have formations that give Wraithknights +1 Toughness and Wounds, as well as all Wraithguard. Also all of their D-weapons get a +1 to the D-chart. They also all gain Battle Focus and Fleet.
Space Marines get free stuff from their formations. They should add a formation where you take one Wraithknight, get one free (including upgrades). Then the game will be balanced.

I disagree with all comments about allying with Inqusition. It brings no benefit other than nostalgia and the fact you accidentally bought models in 5th edition for the now one of the worst Codice in Warhammer 40k.

Assassins suck. Let's face it, no more AP1 plus the change to vehicle damage chart means the Vindicare is not that good anymore. The only good one is the Culexus which should have no place in a Grey Knights army. The only thing decent is Coteaz because he is still cool.

Even if you take Forge World into account , the Grey Knights are still horrendously inadequate. They should really be merged with another faction for the sake of having a full faction.

As for the Eldar, I would prefer we just stick to Eldar Craftworld and Eldar Corsair separately, just like I am not fond of Space Wolves and Dark Angels being buddy-buddy together.

And yet, Grey Knights are still well above anything the likes of you know, Chaos Space Marines can field.

Complaining that Eldar don't have enough toys is like complaining that you're a billionaire who's not as rich as the multi-billionaire.

I'd say it's more like a multi billionaire complain that the billionaires bought all the blue yachts, and now he has to settle for the white one.

Lol, what? Eldar don't have supplements? Eldar have plenty of supplements:.

Codex: Dark Eldar - let's face it, these guys were relegated to being support units for Craftworld Eldar.

Haemonculus Covens - Consider this as a "sub-supplement". Good for 1 detachment.

Codex: Harlequins - just like the dark kin, you'll never field a pure Harlequin army if you ever want to actually win a game. Usable only as support units for Craftworld Eldar.

---

That is a large amount of material to supplement your Craftworld Eldar forces. Then again, it's not like these are even needed. Craftworld Eldar do just fine on their own.

By that line of thought, GK have a ton of army options and suppliments via every IoM codex that they can battle brother with.

Are you seriously complaining about the state of Eldar in comparison to poor old 'nids? There's plenty of ways of playing that Craftworlds codex, I look at that and then at the Tyranids one and think 'one day...'.

agreed. Eldar deserves zero sympathy.

Eldar have a vast selection of units they can use. Limited WAAC builds maybe, but lack of variety? Hardly.

GK is just an ally force. Can be rather fluffy with Marines, AM or Inquisition.
