Sigh...of course it is the ONE drill weekend where I will not be in the city that has a Games Workshop store. Hopefully they will do something online. I would love to get some cool new stuff. I am going to talk with the manager this weekend to see if we can work something out.

A Legion of the damned centurion was released to commemorate the 100th GW store, so it could easily be them again. This news also messes with what I imagined to be the release schedule. Now it seems like it might be 2 weeks of Khorne, then this, then the Orruks.

Exclusive new releases?

It's the "exclusive" part that worried me.

No surprise considering Hastings excellent track record, but GW are now listing the MkIV Squad separately. Miniature of the Year 2015 vote

Found by BeardyHammer

The name they gave it may also be a clue to what the eventual name will be when released as an individual box rather than the boxed Betrayal at Calth game.

I have the Angels of death codex too. Although the cover is falling off. Anyone need one to complete their collection?

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Yeah there were, rather nice too I thought. A modern rehash of the Criminals-made-good Space Marines would be very interesting.

They're mostly here but there are a few later ones mixed in for some reason. So the minis on the bottom three rows except Huron Grimm and the MMelta guy are the original line.

Honestly guys, "Brother Angst" is the single best Space Marine name that I have ever seen. Should I get to play Deathwatch RPG at any point, I'll be running with that for all I am worth.

Risking the wrath of mods for something off topic but. Looking again at those old RT sculpts I really want to match them up with the fantasy ranges of that era. Pretty sure that most of the early marine sculpts are just rehashes of pre existing minis (as armatures).

Maybe that's the exclusive figure. It is celebrating 30 years of power armor after all

Oops, scratch that. The title of this thread is that it's power armor, but the two posters both focus on space marines.

Barf. I'm a fan of marines as anyone, but nearly any of the races in 40k could be as popular as Astartes, provided GW spent even 25% the same effort on them. I'm painting some right now, but they're definitely the GW easy button for releases.

Lol..

Would be cool if they actually had an official presence at Salute beyond Forgeworld, the new chap they have in charge seems a bit more forward thinking and inclusive so it's not that far out of the question I don't think?

They did something similar last year and released something decent on the same day as Salute causing me to detour to one of the GWs near me to get it. I can't for the life of me remeber what it was?

To be fair, nids came in deathwatch, and the dwarves were pretty much bang on. As meatloaf says, 2 outta 3 ain't bad

A+ would correct your posts for you again
D- would hope for more imaginative responses in future. Snarky Internet so and so is so 2014.
Overall rating, C. Could do better, but an adequate start to a flourishing forum relationship of witty back and forth and joviality.
Will give 5 stars or A star if fixed.

I am betting we will see Space Marine stuff that has been limited edition in the past make another appearance. The Special Edition Space Marine Captains might come back. I would love to see them release more Space Marine Upgrade Kits (for the other SM Chapters in C:SM). Maybe a Tactical Squad gets you an Upgrade Kit at a discount. Who knows. All I know is I won't be there

There is a plastic Mark 8. It's the bits and bobs in Tactical Squad/Sternguard Veteran kits.

Mark 8 is just modified Mark 7, enclosing the power cabling on the torso and adding the gorget. Everything outside of that is Mark 7 armor.

Ask the manager if you can put money on a gift card and have them purchase stuff for you using the gift card.

Not the worst idea ever.
