Hello.

So before redsk8n bans me again for bugging him I have a quick question.

I am thinking of buying a super heavy for my eldar. I am not sure which one or even if it is worth it.

All my mates have super heavys I myself jave two hounds and a reaver for our weekend games. But I am realy new to eldar and if I want to kill a reaver or hound or even the giant bug things from tyranid or a stompa whats the best bet with eldar? A phantom or a titan or just say a bunch of wraithlinghts?

I need to go to work every day.
Millions of people on welfare depend on me.

Want to kill titans? Wraithgard are probably your best option. For a super heavy I hear the Lynx is not bad and not too expensive.

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

Lynx is not longer a Super Heavy actually (but its still has solid StrD shooting)

Your best bet is a Revenant Titan or a bunch of Wraithknights

The way to kill super heavies. Take Dark eldar allies, buy a webway portal and a large transport.

Fill it with: Eldar Wraitguard or eldar fire dragons

And boom your super heavy is gone in a turn.
This also works with deepstriking eldar transports if you use your run + shoot rule.

Eldar Vampire Hunters are really tough and cool looking. I would look at those before buying a Phantom.

Before someone corrects me on this, the basis of my statement is the 3+ Evade rule. It has a 66% chance to dodge any shot and I don't know of any USRs that screw with that.

So it's very hard to kill and has a lot of weapons geared towards killing other superheavies. It's underappreciated.

Revenant titan. 4 D templates a turn lobbed over the whole table. I took down all the void sheilds and about 18 hull points on a Reaver in a single round of shooting.

Possibly the best purchase I have ever made

Do titan void shields not have the stipulation that a d weapon hit just removes 1 shield?

yes a void shield eats up a single D hit no matter how many HP you roll on the D chart. I say wraithknights as I have used them to great effect. their apocalypse formation is also exceedingly stupid OP. In addition you can use wraithknights in a "normal" game of 40k as well so its a cross buy at that point and wraithknights eat through Imperial Knights rather quickly as well. I had 4 wraithknights, 2 revenants, 2 scorpion SH and 1 Phantom eat through a reaver, 2 warhounds, and 6 imperial knights(with a little help from some dark reapers and 3 Crimson Hunters to knock off the void shields) ina single round of shooting.

If they do it is the first I heard about it; I don't play much apoc! I relied on the owner knowing the rules.

a single D weapon hit removes1 void shield regardless of what you roll on the D chart

10 wraithguard + farseer + Archon with webway portal.

That should be able to kill any Titan short of the Warlord, in which case repeat the above squad until desired outcome.

Use Scatbikes and scourges to knock out void shields.

If you want to kill Stompas, just cast misfortune on it and scat bike it to death.

Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

Sounds like you do big games. A bunch of Wraithguard and WWP DE HQ is all you'll need.
