Is anybody aware of 40K coloring books? I'm told adult coloring books are in vogue right now.

Oh man, I really hope this isn't an April Fools joke, because I'd LOVE a 40K coloring book. It'd be great to test out color schemes, and if the book is versatile enough it would be a lovely alternative to buying the random model from the army you don't collect.

Back in the good old days of predominantly black and white rulebooks I used to colour the odd picture or two just to jazz things up a bit. My D+D books got it worse though.
Maybe just pick up some of those old books if it's just for personal funsies.
Pretty sure there's never been a colouring book but I've a vague recollection of a design a SM marine chapter competition that had a black and white line drawing of a marine. I feel it could have been mid to late 90s though It could have been a local in store thing?

Why would you want a colouring book, when you can colour in 3D with paint!
But seriously I woulnt mind a few templates online to try out some cool colour schemes.

It is hard to bring paints to work so I can have something to do if my patients are all sleeping, but a coloring book would work very well. Your second point is another benefit.

I remember when I was still in elementary school and I got a new pack of pencil crayons and to my surprise Ultramarine blue was one of the colours!

Not sure where these are from (Mods, if I'm posting something I shouldn't, let me know and I'll remove them!), but I've used these for trying new colour schemes before.

look for the paint scheme templates bolter and chainsword have on their websites... or just google 40k color in and such phrases... worked for me, got quite a bunch of templates for my kids...they love coloring in chaos space marines for example ...or i should show you what m son came up with from just one ork template...i guess he made around four totally different variants of his own...
