Hi everyone. I've known of this forum for a little while and have finally decided to jump in and get an account. I used to play Warhammer Fantasy quite a few years ago, then got into collecting 40k. I'm mostly a collector/painter now (currently in the middle of putting together some Dwarfs and Greenskins) and don't really play anymore but, who knows, maybe I'll start slaying some enemies again sometime!

My first 40k army was Black Templars, but my most recent collection is some Biel-Tan Eldar. It's a decent sized army but there's still some room for expansion so I might go back to it when I'm finished painting my backlog of Warhammer Fantasy figures.

Ha, yeah the backlog is a pretty standard situation for me. But when AoS came out I got scared that all the miniatures were changing so I bought quite a silly amount of Dwarfs and Orcs... It's going to keep me happily busy for some time!

Xenos scum! The devotees of Khorne will slaughter your Eldar whole! Love to see how to paint your Eldar, the striking contrast between green and white always have appealed to me. I am more curious on your Black Templars though; a good friend of mine is interested in starting that army.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys (well apart from being called xenos scum! )
hcls315, I'll have to take some pictures of my Eldar. The white/green scheme was really appealing to me too. Although I wish I had my airbrush when I was trying to get smooth coats of white!
I really enjoyed painting the black templars but I think if I got another marine army it'd be something with a bit more colour. Blood Angels or Ultramarines perhaps.
