I'm starting up a third army, Lizardmen! Started poking around online and saw 'Temple Guards' Huh, what are these? Went to GW's store and nothing no temple guards. What are close to them are the Saurus Guards, body and head, the weapons/shield are different. Well I could just give them a polearm and call them Temple Guards in truth for the older edition, 8th for example. It could work, due to the Temple Guards used spears, the Guards use Spears, okay they're just fancier, no problem I guess! They could be pulled off as Temple Guard, what does the community say?

Also been doing a lot of poking on the web just to match up the Seperhon units with each other and so far the only ones that I haven't found are some Hero units and far as I can tell from the Cav unit and the Stegadon, their model is the same, just different names. Let me know if that's wrong though! I'm quite positive on that though!

Yes, the Seraphon Saurus Guard are the renamed Lizardmen Temple Guard.

Can they be used as Temple Guard though?

Saurus Guard and Temple Guard are the same models, they were just given a new name for the new game.

Oh! Okay, just this one box that had Temple Guards had bone spears nothing like that, should've done more looking, but I do thank you! THANKS! <3 Loving these models, my Skaven and Chaos army are doing well too.

Absolutely can, and good luck with your project. As long as your opponents can easily identify what's what and armed with what, all is well.
