SUPPORTING FIRE
"When an enemy unit declares a charge, all friendly models
with this special rule in units within 6" of the charging unit'
target can choose to fire Overwatch as if they were also
targets of the charge. Remember that a unit can still only
fire Overwatch once each phase. "
What does this actualy mean?
a) All models in a unit witin 6" may fire
-b)Only models within 6" of the charged unit may fire
In my German Dex its clearly a) but how is it in English?

Well you could probably try to make an argument that it means models within 6" which are in units (as opposed... to models within 6" that aren't in units - silly).
But it should be pretty clear it means all models in a unit that is within 6".

The extra wordage is to stop characters without the special rule, which have joined a Supporting Fire unit from being able to fire:
"When an enemy unit declares a charge, all friendly models with this special rule in units within 6" of the charging unit's target
Two separate parts that really could have done with an extra "that are" between the two parts in my opinion.

Amen, brother. I speak 4 languages and have lived in foreign countries where my fluency wasn't 100%. I can't imagine having to truly understand game rules in a foreign language.

actualy there are not that many cases where the rules are difficult to understand because of language.
And i have the original wording and also a translation in german. so its quite easy to get 99% of the rules right.

Most of the rules debates I've come across are the direct result of over-analyzing the wording of the rules. In most cases, the intent is clear, but people will always try to twist words to fit their agenda. In most cases, the golden rule of "don't be a dick" can solve the dispute.
