As the title states, is Grey knight terminator armor it's own pattern, or is it simply considered a variation on the Indomitus Pattern?

What Die said. GKT wear Aegis-pattern Terminator Armor, set apart by the MK.II-style helm, the wrist-mounted Stormbolter (to allow for the use of grenades) and most notably the warp protective runes and bulwarks.

Yeah its called the Matt Ward pattern

Its immune to all sources of damage because it was forged with the last drops of the emperors blood, and bless by a necron tomb lord, thus making it immune to D hit weapons as well, and it gives the wearer the ability to slay a demon prince in a single strike and you never get that smelly armor stench from wearing it all day, and it dry cleans itself, and can make nachos because Matt ward.

To many unpainted models to count.

While Grey Knights are hand picked genome from the marines that are entirely incorruptible, their aegis armour also makes them entirely incorruptible, but if you really wanna be super incorruptible, don't forget to kill a bunch of nuns and bathe in their blood. Because you can always be more incorruptible.

Also, Purifiers are more incorruptible than the rest, because Matt says so.

The GKs themselves are mentally incorruptible (so they cannot be tempted by Chaos).

Purifiers are just as pure personally - ie, internally - but unlike the others they also display 'external' purity, the ability to purify everything around them, which manifests by burning away the impure.

The Aegis suits provide protection against psychic attacks, such as psychic fireballs and the like.

The SoB blood was necessary because mental incorruptibility is not the same as physical incorruptibility. A Grey Knight would not be immune to what befell the Blood Disciples, for example (and, indeed, neither would a SoB).

Above post (ironically by Purifier) retells an often-regurgitated 4chan meme that fortunately has little basis in reality.

But you have to admit that the SoB blood bit is a fairly bad piece of fiction, even by Matt Ward standards

It's fine. For the Grey Knights, who fight a secret war for mankind's very soul, individual human warriors are as expendable as ammunition. More expendable, in many cases, considering the munitions they use.

In essence, they simply reinforced their armour with holy ointment - that said ointment happened to be blood is a price well worth paying for victory.
