You can, but shouldn’t.

While you will get the extra attack for paired specialist weapons, you can get the same results by running a powerfist/lightning claw. This costs fewer points, and gives you the option of using the claw to strike at I when you don’t need the killing power of the fist.

It’s more all-offense then the more common thunder hammer/stormshield build. You just have the 4++ from the iron halo to keep you safe. Which isn’t nothing, but something to keep in mind.

When putting together my jump captain, I went hammer/claw. I thought it was worth the extra 5 points to upgrade the fist to the hammer, not for the concussive, but for the looks.

It looks scary and gets extra points for "rule of cool".

Very fluff for Angry Marines too.

Yes you can and it makes room for lots of fisting/double-fisting jokes.

I think dual Chainfist Amit still wins.

I wish my Orks could do that :( Double fisting Power Klaws would be fun and would look cool as hell. Plus it would be fun to bring a Double PK Warboss against that Eldar IC who disarms her opponents. (Jain Zar?) be fun to smash her little fething head in.

Marneus Calgar DOES dual-wield power fists.

Somehow, pewdiepie comes to mind.

Tyberos still wins. Dual Chainfists that are also lightning claws. And can split his attacks. Shame about the T4 2+/5++ though, and the lack of eternal warriors really makes him fairly terrible for 190 points. But the model is rad, and that's what counts.

I would kill to have a warboss with those stats for 190pts

One of the weapon mutations Chaos Space Marine Mutilators can morph is double chain fists. I know a lot of people don't have the taste for this unit entry, but when they get a chance to use their double chain fists it can get pretty messy. In this context 55 points seems cheap for a deepstriking chainfist.

Shame they can't use them in consecutive fight subphases!

Nice to see there's a lot of what I would call decent minded players around in here. I put 2 chainswords on one of my Sergents for the exact reason.

A Big Mek can take a Killsaw and a PK while Meganobz can take 2x Killsaws. If in a Ghazz supplement army a Warboss can take a PK and "Da Killa Klaw" which is an overpriced PK that can trade all its attacks to attempt an ID attack.
