Subject: New Rebel pilot, looking for input on my very first 100 point 'learning' list.
First post down in this forum. A few friends of mine are trying out Xwing and I'm joining in. I played a couple of quick learning games last week and have decided to start up a Rebel attack wing. As of this afternoon I have the base (red) set giving me an X Wing and with that I picked up the B Wing upgrade pack. I will also have an E-wing that I will receive from one of my friends in trade for the pair of Tie fighters in my starter pack (I have zero interest in that faction, for clarity's sake).
So I've worked up the following list for my meager attack wing of 3 ships, and would love some feedback. Bear in mind I have very limited resources. Just the base starter game X Wing, the B Wing Expansion, and the (eventual) E Wing Expansion that I should receive tomorrow.
Take a look:
100 point Rebel attack wing
Ten Numb (B-Wing) Marksmanship Auto Blasters Total: 39 Points
Red Squadron Pilot (X-Wing) R2-F2 Droid Total: 26 Points
Blackmoon Squadron Pilot (E-Wing) R2-D2 Droid Fire Control System Total: 35 Points
Total: 100 Points
Kind of an aggressive, offense focused list which offers a threat from each of the ships along with some defense in the form of upgrades (X and E Wing) or good combination of shields and hull (B Wing). We're all just starting out so this will be my 'learning' list for the time being until we've all gotten a bit more well versed in how the game works and start trying builds for our different factions.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I've got other upgrades I'll work in later, such as an Ion Cannon, and the like, but I want to keep the list fairly simple and straight forward while I learn.
Lastly, what would be a good next purchase to expand my attack wing further? Any input on that would also be appreciated.
Take it easy and thanks for reading.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Mainly, I would really suggest only running Corran Horn or Etahn on your E-Wing, and to use Integrated Astromech on your X-Wing. Beyond that, just play - you'll quickly get a feel for what does and doesn't work.

...everything, basically
But Y-Wings are good workhorse ships, and Z-95's are good fillers. What you should avoid buying is more X-Wings or E-Wings, as they only have a few specific uses. All the rest of the Rebel ships are awesome.

As another new guy i recommend the K-Wing, mostly for the long list of sweet upgrade cards it has, also the ship itself isnt all that bad. After you grab the K Wing grab a Y-Wing or two as now they can both have Twin-Laser Turret, and that gives them a lot of punch.

Thanks for the help, and the information.
I like the first list a lot. Is Corran Horn that much more powerful/better than Ten Numb?
Just curious. I'll be copying both lists as alternative options and will play both this one, and the list I came up with over a couple of games. I don't know how my friends feel about proxying as yet, so we'll see about that later I suppose.
That all being said, I appreciate the info and feedback.
Also, Grimmor, I don't know if the K wing is going to be one I wind up getting. That said I LOVE the way the ship looks, but from what I've seen of the stats it's kind of a weak hitter for what you pay for it. That said it could be used for blocking I suppose since it's pretty beefy and can drop mines/be a bomber. It's on the possible next-buy list, but mostly for the aesthetics.
I'll chime in tomorrow afternoon once I get home and offer insight on how the lists played.
Take it easy for now.

Proxy the cards you need. As long as you aren't playing in a sanctioned tournament there is absolutely no reason to limit yourself to the cards you own paper copies of. Within the limits of the ships and dials you have, here is an option:
Corran Horn Push the limit
Fire control system
Engine upgrade
R2-D2
Corran is obviously your ace. You get tons of actions, tons of firepower, a solid tank, and the ability to repair a shield HP every turn with the green maneuvers you're doing already for stress removal. He's expensive, but he can win games against ridiculous odds. The b-wing is just a solid jousting ship, with advanced sensors to mitigate some of the problems with its red-heavy dial (do your action before taking stress from the maneuver) and let you avoid blocking. Biggs over a generic x-wing is more of a "what you have points for" option in this case, but can still throw off your opponent's target priority. And with 3 dice + crack shot he still has a decent gun.
There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Ten Numb has his uses against fragile ace ships, since he can sneak damage through even the strongest defenses. The trouble is: the B-Wing is only tough enough to survive a turn or two of concentrated fire, and he has a hell of a time trying to avoid it if he wants to also shoot at the ace ship. Ten Numb's pilot ability only allows him to sneak through one damage - the rest of his attack dice will probably be canceled by the ace's defense, and even a fragile ace like The Inquisitor can survive a couple of critical hits without flinching. His pool of hit points is like a clock, and the tempo of the 100pt game doesn't favor him.
Corran, on the other hand, is one of the best pilots in the game. R2D2 and Push The Limit allow him to continuously regenerate his shields, while also generating lots of defensive tokens with Push The Limit, or slip out of sticky situations with barrel roll and boost actions. His pilot ability also perfectly suites his role as a hit & run ship, giving him really nasty firepower when he needs it, with little downside. He's challenging to fly - not exactly a ship I would recommend to a new player. But if you're going to fly an E-Wing, you should fly with Corran.

Welcome to X-Wing, I think other posters have pretty much covered everything I'd say, the only thing I'd add is the Marksmanship EPT is utterly awful, don't worry I think we all thought it was good to start with, maths wise its no better than the standard Focus action, even with Ten Numb's crit related ability
