I once rebuilt the impossible.
I still regard this with far more apprehension.

I swear there's a video on youtube I watched that had a unpacking and etc instructions - can't find it now =/ but you might give it a search, Buttery, case you have better luck better than FW instructions anyway

I'll take a look.
Honestly, broken down its not too bad a job. The difficult part is finding tools. I fear drop impacts and bendy pinning.

Also magnets are fething expensive. I know you don't use a £1 tripod to hold a £600 camera, but I was quoted £69 for enough to do the arms.

I don't know anything about legions. The fluff I shared in the DCM good news topic is her backstory, she belongs to a group of Adeptus mechanicus Explorators.

Glad you fufilled your hot relationship between man and machine, lol, now the hard part will be assembly.

I wish you luck, you will probably need it. That being said, this is truly awe-some in the older sense of the word.

I know are talented enough for the job though, and you can do it.

Probably quite similar to those I used on the Aquila.
Sky colours, silvers, creams and some gun metals.

Topped off with a hard car lacquer so she can be handled with all that white paint without cringing.

Ollie isn't speaking to me after I left him unattended at WHW and a child broke his staff. I'll see if he'd like to ride in the new toy though.

That doesn't sound right the magnets.

just how big and many are you going?

edit: i always felt like if i ever got a titan id use big counter sunk magnets and probably some bolts to keep the thing together instead of just letting it free hold with the magnets alone.
id bolt in the arms from the top of the shoulder and hide the bolt using the big pauldron would honestly never trust magnets for anything that big and resin

I'd go with magnets and some pins that just slide in and help hold weight whilst magnet locks it tighter to joint.

Reinforce the joint

Ha! Also vaguely terrifying meme.

I'm a little confused by the topic move, truth be told. There are a lot of individual build discussions in P&M itself. Plus I had intended this to be a bit of a multi purpose (SOS and documenting Titan instructions) thing. Guess the title was entirely unclear about either of those things.

Flailing on the beach like a beached whale. While also wearing fashionable panties.

Good luck BC, I suffered a near-aneurysm whilst assembling the Warhound, so I can only imagine the pain you are going though.

TheEyeOfNight I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes.
Tactical_Spam Vanden clearly loves making sweet sweet love to his school. He is the most passionate, learning oriented individual you will ever meet.
War Kitten You should ask nicely before hitting people with your stick Vanden. We're a polite society after all.
2BlackJack1 Snow is great though. Snowmen, snowball fights, frostbite, snow forts, what's not to love?
Kharne the Befriender It's just the smug look of eternal irony while you wait for Creed to pull out his Baneblade so you can steal it.
War Kitten I love how this has gone from a deathly serious war to a discussion about how Vanden is secretly a whale wearing panties. Welcome to the Crusade of Fury.
Irishpeacockz Well this crusade will be endless then as I imagine Vandan has a large collection of inflatables lying around

Yeah, moving it was wrong imo. Looks like P&M has earned the attention of a mod with an itchy trigger finger.

That was at my suggestion. You are likely to get way more traffic in blog land, normal P&M is more a place for resources like base size and whatnot.

For instance Jan showed up.
