I have a chimera getting stopped on by my warhound. It's all rusty from part of a long forgotten battle. Will yours be similar or more "fresh"?

Mine's going to be embedded in a bank of earth because a reaver foot sticks a way off the edge before I even add toes. ^^;

Is the laspistol there to shoot unwilling assistants, or probmatic pets?

I'm surprised how well the Kroothawk fits the head. My planning ability is almost entirely on the fly, and quite often correct. But it surprises me still.

I'm going to build up spines down the back and shoulders, much like the hounds have. Blackjack, do you have any strong visions of how a Kroothawk looks?

I picture some feathers along the wings, but it wouldn't be coated in them, and perhaps some on the head/neck area as well. Spikes along the back are fitting as well. The skin itself would be leathery, like actual Kroot. As for colors, that could be any color of the rainbow, and more, as they are Kroot creatures.

Not sure about feathers. They're a bit more like Turians (or vice versa)from Mass Effect. More scaly and boney

I think I might put feathers in the tail "fan", but my sculpting is not up to doing them on the wings.

I was torn between this head and the screeching one, I think this is better balanced.

That would still be cool to see. And the head is a good fit, it makes it look like it's basking in the sun, and enjoying it's place as an apex predator in the wild.

i am massively intimidated by the sheer number of pieces that make up a titan. still, i suppose you could make it even harder by building a scenic base for it as well.

working on a titan myself, I can definitely say that ensuring to THOROUGHY clean off the releasing agent is mucho important. I have had so many painting issues for not being serious enough when I was cleaning it up!

If you're looking for GW birds, you can check out the Dark Eldar Razorwing Flock(temporarily out of stock unfortunately). Pretty expensive for 4 birds though.

I eagerly await more updates. I always loved the Reaver model, and can't wait to see what glorious heights you will take that magnificent machine to.
