Is he more useful in a terminator command squad with an apoth, champion, and banner barer, equiping him with his SB and Sword of Silence?
Or is better with a group of terminator knights with his SS/TH?
Either way he will be deep striking via a ravenwing detachment

I would think the command squad would be better since he would get FnP from the Apothecary and +1 attack from the Deathwing banner. DW Knights make a decent entourage for him as well, especially if he does take a TH/SS.

Yeah that's where I'm stuck at, but iirc the banner give the +1A to all within 12 inches of it. So it's either do I want him to get the 5+ fnp? Or the shield wall bonus

Since Belial is no longer required to run a pure DW force, can I convince you not to use him? He's 190 points, doesn't have Eternal Warrior (making the TH/ SS mandatory), and other than the no-scatter DS on a single unit, doesn't really do anything for your army. If you still want to use the model, just run him as a company master with terminator armor and save some points.
Belial is the epitome of He could be cool if given the right rules, but he's not.

Belial is okay for the points, but the main problem is that you could get an Interrigator Chaplain instead.

I run him in my Centstar at times along with Draigo. That no-scatter Gate sure is awesome!

I've always found it hilarious that "belial" translated from hebrew means "worthless"

Oh yeah, he is great in the Centstar. Don't have to worry about mishaps, you can get to any objectives you need, you can teleport to within Void Shield Generator range, you can stay 24" away from fast assault deathstars, etc. Moreover, he's another tanker with his 2+/3++. I also run Stern and so when I cast Sanctuary, you are looking at Draigo and Belial with 2++!
By taking him, you can give up the Librarius Conclave. Moreover, if you really need more resiliency for the star, you can take Azrael for 4++ all over, buffed to 3++ with Sanctuary!

So general consensus is to run a interrogator chaplain instead.
After rebalancing my list I got a chaplain in term armor with a digital weapon, and gave a bike squad a grab gun and upgraded a lib on a bike to a l2 Pcyker.
So should I run the chaplain in the command squad then?
