In a nut shell, I really like the look of the new age of sigmar iron jaws but have already spend lots of money on 40k and don't want to waste that. How easy do you think it'll be to implement the iron jaw models to a 40k ork army?

They look like perfectly fine ork nobz and a warboss. You'll need to stick some guns and powerklaws in there but with a different paintjob the armor can be suitably futuristic and they already come on round bases.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, thanks for confirming it

Yeah when I saw them for the first time I didn't realize they were AoS. I said to myself "I thought Orks just got a new MegaNob box set" then I realized they were AoS. I would totally go for it. As Badablack mentions, just add some guns and klaws and youa re done.

Glue some sluggas and PK's on them, maybe some stikkbombs, ammo pouches, and backpacks if you feel like it, and you're good to go.

These new orruks will definitely be going into my Ork army reboot. Really nice aesthetics as-is, if you want feral orks. With a tiny bit of gubbinz nailed on they will be right proper in 40k!

Fairly easy I'd say. I've preordered a Megaboss to convert into a... uh... Megaboss, and have plans to make the Brutes into MA Nobz as well. They will complement my Wildboyz (Savage Orcs) quite nicely, I think.

Glad I am not the only person thinking the same thing. Bad ass looking armor on them. Looking at the sprue on the website, the warboss has an open left hand that attaches at the wrist under a gauntlet. Should be able to convert a hand and stick a gun in it.

Yeah, you'll definitely need some pistols etc too. For a cool squad of 10, combine a box of iron jaws and a box of nobs, and mix and match parts galore.

Those gore-gunta's really ask to be used as nob bikers. The only "downside" to these models is that they all seem to be warboss sized. They could possibly be better to be used as biker warbosses. This is great because gw doesn't make those.
I might just post some conversions once I can get my hands on them and figure out how to make it work. It would be fun to see what we can do with those models.

We need to see how the sizes of them match up before getting too excited. Hopefully they line up well.

I almost feel like GW should have just released these models with gun options, then they could have been a dual kit AoS Orcs or 40k Snakebites.

Here you go a size comparison.

It is based on the fact that black orks are nob sized

The new Orruk Brutes are Meganobz in all but name. They even have a claw-like weapon. It looks like a simple weapon swap is all that's needed for them to be turned into Meganobz.

yeah, I was thinking those brutes would make great snakebitez meganobz with very little alteration...though they would work nicely for any kind of 'ardnobz/meganobz really, just might take a little extra work making them "fit"...love the models anyway

hmm...d'ya reckon that megaboss on maw-krusha would be too big to count as a warboss on warbike?

I have invested in the mega boss and it turned out good. I've currently only got him holding a gun from the deff dread set but may add some more orky bitz .
Here's the current model

The Weirdnob is on a 40mm base, so he's good sized.

That warboss has me completely sold on the new Ironjaws being made into Meganobz. They even look more dynamic than the ones we got now.
