That model looks like the free one from that White Dwarf a while back. It's a Stormcast Eternal Liberator. I actually have that one and it is patiently waiting its turn to get painted. Looks like you are making a good start on yours!

@ Jan I'm glad you've been able to find distractions while in hospital, sketches look good. hope its a short stay and your out soon.

The colours on the armour look very striking already, keep up the good work albinoork.

My proof as well, these guys finally came in. Unlikely I'll get a full 10 done by the month's end, given impending exams, but I should get half a dozen done up:

@Paradigm - MOM Miniatures? What is that? I'm always looking for good sources of historical figures!

They're actually supposed to be Fantasy minis, but they'd do as Renaissance/Late Medieval European troops in a pinch.

Posted up a review of this lot and a couple of other bits in my bog, the short version is that they're dead cheap, very good quality and excellent sculpts. For about a Euro a mini (though there is a €10 shipping charge for orders under about £50-ish) you can't go wrong!

Cheers all. Heading home today thankfully. Hasn't been the worst of stays but really looking forward to getting back to my own bed and wife and dog missed painting like you wouldn't believe!!! So much to do when I get home!!! Thx for all the kind comments folks

I had no idea you were sick and there I was pestering you with stupid PMs.

Not at all Buttery. Dakka has helped preserve some sanity over the last few days!!! Was only in for a few days in any case. Not so much sick as a bit battered. Got knocked over by a car on my way to work on Tuesday. Nothing broken but elbow and shoulder took a bit of a battering so was advised to stay in for a few nights and get lots of physio while here. Couldn't do any painting (though my awesome wife offered to bring in some paints and figs if I wanted) but did get some design and fluff work done. And watched a ton of painting vids and batreps on YouTube so kept my hand in. Lol.

I've taken it upon myself to go crazy, now trying to do some terrain for these snipers to be hiding in - I also want them to match it somewhat.

well, I think I'm done with my entry...I'm fairly happy with it overall, although the flag I slapped together from a bit of plasticard is a bit of a bodge-job, I must admit ...and my cheap little camera and it's flash were less than kind
...anyway, I decided to just run with the theme that the gorkamorka "banna grot" model provided me with:
Rebel Grotz!..."Gretchin Revolutionary Committee"...hunkered down in a makeshift defensive position in the cliffs, fighting for their freedom from their overbearing former masters!

Just in case I want to change my entry, is a Tau Shas´Ui (?) still an every day hero or is it to much?

If that's a squad leader then it's fine, it's more HQ characters that are a bit too heroy and not enough everyday!

Better late than never. I wasn't sure I was going to have time to paint this month, but I'm going to try and fit in one mini before the 30th if I can.
