So what are you doing in an Age of Sigmar thread then?

Whether he can see past the shield, well, that's a different story.
I think that's the problem with the picture, though. It just doesn't work, spacial-ly. How is his nose in front of that pauldron, even though the pauldron appears to go out far past the front of his bulky chest plate? Unless the pauldrons slide way back when they turn their heads due to some clever mechanism/magic.
Also, in no other picture do the pauldrons look so much like just upside-down space marine shoulder pads, especially that magical left one.

The picture looks fine. The pauldron looks about level with the pectoral part of the armour, so he'd be able to see past it okay.

I kinda want to talk about this.
Now what caught my eye is the army of death bit perhaps they are going to start re-boxing some of the death models? Perhaps to get ready for the summer campaign because my local GW still has a vampire count battelion and they told me that they have to go back to headquarters by the end of this week. (Going to buy it because of the corpse cart) Or maybe it's just Iyanden eldar?

@Shinros, very possible it's AoS undead. Like you said, they could be readying it for the campaign and may be the reason the new Sylvaneth artwork has them fighting undead.

True they are polar opposite's hence conflict perhaps I can finally buy skeletons without paying extra for 25mm bases I will be so happy if they put 20 skeleton warriors in a box like ghouls.

Regarding the wishfull thinking about a return of Bretonnians, they are not coming back side by side with a future Total War expansion

Nope, not related. TW:W has 2 further planned releases which will see all of the old world races become playable. GW are not bringing back brets, as Taylor Swift would say "like, EVER"

Well of course, that was really a theory?
TW warhammer is all about eighth edition and fleshing out that world with 16 playable races. No connection to AoS at all.
If Brets were brought back it would probably be only after the Free Guild is expanded on (likely in 2-3 years) and it'll probably just be knights of the fallen mortal realm kingdoms with Bretonnian references but no actual connection to Bretonnia but scant ones.
Of course that's just my opinion.
[Edit] Hahaha, that Boronyeltsin guy and his false "saw TWW but got AoS and left" story got rekt!

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

This in my mind shows they are going to do it via grand alliances and you submit victories to the one you play.

It's already the 11th here, where's my war?
I'm trying to figure out what that monster is anyways.
Someone remind me- that whole "Paths of Glory" or whatever the Chaos Warband rules were called, those were going to be in the new General's book, right?

I can see the Minotaur now.
Thought the nostrils were the eyes and was utterly confused.
Maybe we'll see Beastmen start to get repacked to coincide with all this?
They seem to have gotten pretty scarce back at home...

Shinros was right on the money, July 14 for the official beginning of the war. Plenty of time to build up those armies and get our hands on the general rulebook.
https://m.facebook.com/GWWarhammerAgeofSigmar/photos/a.452227281640737.1073741828.452117934985005/484621035068028/?type=3&source=48&__tn__=E
Also agreed with Shinros that the campaign will be grand alliance based. Easier to keep track of rather than the multitude of individual races and orders.
Interested to see what the narrative will be for the event.

The minotaur is part of the popular artwork including the stormcast from the first "muster" poster.
Great stuff when you see the whole picture, so to speak.
Edit: art from the godbeast book i believe.
