Maybe put that in the 40K rumour thread, and not the AoS one then.

It also talks about DoT. So yeah. When is GW gonna give us more of those tasty Tzeentch leaks anyway?

Maybe tomorrow? I read something about Duncan doing his 100th painting video and there is suppose to be teaser or something in there that will reveal an upcoming release. I could be wrong if what I read is wrong.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Looks like Razor Edge got the same warm welcome I got. Stay classy, Sigmar.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

Yeah so they just finished the interview with Nick Horth on warhammer tv who is writing this book. He goes into some of the finer details of the book.

Yeah so he explains further that a free guild captain see's something he should not have seen and only the witch hunter and his companion who is a duardin is helping him. He goes on to explain this book will see how normal people view all the craziness but on the ground level things are still similar yet not. Like there is a shard of the world that was in the sea next to the city that is mined as currency to be used to glimpse in the future.

Also the scourge privateers control the docks and they are not nice people going by Nick's description of them twitch chat called them pretty much Aelven mafia well they sound like it. The witch hunter is from the order of ayzr created by sigmar to destroy corruption in the new cities but they are stretched to the absolute limit with all the new people coming into the cities.

They also look at the divide between those who came from ayzr who are taking all the important jobs and the tribes nomands and people who survived the age of chaos coming into the cities it seems they live in the more slum like area. Also many of the people of ayzr view these people coming in corrupted by chaos because they wonder how they survived with the age of chaos hanging over them.

Also we get to see how a normal human views a stormcast of course some are heroic and mingle with the populace but the ones in the city are the knight excelsior who hate everything to do with chaos and of course if they get a hint they will carry out a purge and purges happened in the past. Hence why the witch hunter's job is so important.

One last thing sigmar's hope was to have all three main races living in the cities together of course certain armies are seperate and doing their own thing even if they are allies but largely the cities are a mixed population perhaps with one main group. Like the city on the novel is mainly a free guild city while let's say the one in the realm of life has a larger aelf population since it was mainly built by the phoenix temple. I quite like this since it makes it dynamic.

Now people want a new mordheim or AOS RPG the book sounds pretty awesome.

I wanted it already but damn, that sounds awesome.
It's adding in the ground level graininess that really helped flesh out warhammer fantasy back in the old editions.
It'll hopefully give some inspiration for the regiments of renown warbands i'm building.

Something interesting that has popped up in war of sigmar's comments is this:

So, maybe the disparate Rumor Mill images are more connected than we thought? Just like the combined Tzeentch book soon to be coming, could we be looking at a Battletome: Free Cities? This would give us an expansion of Devoted, Phoenix Temple, and Ironweld Arsenal (which some people have suggested may be the actual name for the Steamhead Dwarves, just as Fyreslayers were the actual name of Red Slayers). This would make sense of the pieces that we have thus far and flesh out three subfactions that each need just a little bit of help. They don't share any common keywords, but that could be remedied though either the addition of a new keyword (Free Cities), or they stay as something independent given that their cities are largely independent. Just something to think about.

Your thoughts??

SOB!!!!!

I just saw the Island of Blood set was OUT OF STOCK, not temporarily out.

Looking forward to reading City of Secrets.

My hope has been that the Realm Gate wars was the opening scene into an evolving story that would hopefully someday bring us to a setting more familiar to the Old World, but more open ended.... City looks to be going that way.

US webstore has it listed with:
Spire of Dawn webstore entry
Availability: Temporarily out of stock

If it was gone, forever? It would have stamped across it "NO LONGER AVAILABLE".

It's pretty nuts. If you get two and split them with someone who wants the other force, you're essentially getting the best value starter set on the market. I was looking at doing that for High Elves, personally.

An interesting development on the UK online store. The Burning Chariot of Tzeentch is 'Sold Out' and no longer available. A repack or a new sculpt? Hmm...

Again, it is 'Sold Out' and no longer available. It is not 'Temporarily Unavailable'.

I'm guessing repack? Maybe the entire daemon range will eventually go to the white boxes like this:

https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Daemons-Of-Khorne-Bloodcrushers

Seems like the entire instore Khorne range got the treatment during the Khorne focused run of AoS.

Maybe. If so, let's see if there is a price increase/decrease.

Probably this. I just bought one from my LGS and it still came with the rectangle base, which is what I will be using because that 120x92mm Flyer base is too big.
Maybe they'll put an appropriate sized oval base in the repack similar to what they did with 'Crusher?
Maybe the 90x52mm oval?

There were no price hikes on the Khorne repackaging. Though there were some decreases due to increasing model count. Think Bloodcrushers were the only ones.

*edit* also looks like Kairos now has the "No Longer Available" tag as well.

Was just reading the Kairic Acolytes warscroll. They're missile troops as well as the Tzaangor Skyfires

EDIT: Looks like the $25 price for the battletome was incorrect. On the NZ site it is $65, one dollar more than the Burning Chariot. So I'll say it will be about $40 US and £25 UK.

Still hoping to see some heavily-armored units for the Arcanites, but damn do those Acolytes look tempting!

The price leaks on BoLS listed the tome as $35 US

And also, this is a new Gaunt Summoner warscroll. It looks like it has the same stats as the two we've seen previously, but doesn't have the rules for the familiars from Silver Tower or the disc from the other model. I was wondering how they would handle this guy.
