Ehm... they have actually depicted humans from godbeasts (may-april) and onwards. Not too often but depicted them nonetheless.

Here's another thought. The Burning Chariot's price is unchanged. Could they be slipping in a small sprue like THIS and would they be able to add enough extra components to make the Blue Scribes?

While I don't think they would do this for the Blue Scibes, that does bring up an interesting thought:

What if they make a mini sprue like this for Brimstone Horror Pairs? With say, 4-5 pairs on each sprue?
We already know that the new LoC has Brims on it's base. What if they don't actually come on his sprue, but on their own?
Maybe they are doing them like Nid Rippers.

If so, then I might amend my prediction to this:
10 Pinks with a single Brimstone sprue
20 Blues with 10-15 Brims
LoC with a single Brimstone sprue

Working on it

GW is making decisions hard.

Do I get the Lord of Change or a bunch of Horrors

Is there a reason they're re-releasing the Flamers/Screamers? Are they just repacking them?

<Dynasty> ~10500pts
War Coven of the Coruscating Gaze ~3000pts
Thrice-Damned Plague Corps ~3250pts

They essentially did just that to make the AoS Tzaangors suitable for 40K, so it's not unprecedented.

Brimstone Horrors are small enough that they should be able to fit them into the sprues in spaces that are too small to hold a larger component.

Oh, for sure. That's how Tyranid Rippers are done. Some come in like 4 different boxes just squeezed somewhere in the sprues of those kits.
But the Tzaangor 40K sprue got me thinking that maybe they'd do a Brimstone spure that they could just sprinkle into several boxes

I'm not saying I like this idea, but I could see GW doing this.
I'd actually be pissed if they just put 5 Brimstone pairs in each box and that was the reason for the price bump.

Your prediction on the blue horros is wrong. For 35 dollars (well, my LGS-guy said 25 euros, but you get the gist) you get 10 blue horros and 10 brimstones.

Weren't they more of the fanatics though? Besides those Aqshy fellas were living underground in fear so they aint gonna be decked out in military uniforms. I was talking more of the soldiers, it will be interesting to see what the Azyr military in particular looks like considering most of what we have seen of Azyrheim does not really fit the current Empire models in terms of style, of course a more blue/white scheme would probably suffice.

Then again most people from Azyrheim is likely to be a descendant of the inhabitants of the Empire. Still I'd love to see new aesthetics. Not generic please.

My AOS fluff-fu is weak, but Wasn't every mortals destroyed and were only recreated afterward by the gods?

If that's the case, they are not any descendant of the old empire (bar maybe Sigmar)

Not exactly. "Bodies", so to speak, were indeed destroyed. But souls and the like were kept intact, floating in the void that laid in during the period between the destruction of the World That Was and the Moment Dracothion decided to dust off his lazy-shiny ass to rebuild the universe and put things into place. Then Sigmar began his search for the other gods and found said souls, proceeding to give them back the bodies they had lost through... some means, the books aren't really exact on how it went by. Aelfs went through a similar procedure, though most of their kin was trapped inside Slaanesh's gut. Tyrion, Teclis and Malerion would eventually rescue them, re-enacting elven dickery: whole worlds burned as the forces of chaos triumphed so the elves could save their kin.

Did your LGS guy give the numbers on the Pink Horrors, Screamers, or Flamers? Apologies if you already mentioned this, did a quick skim and didn't see it.

He sent us a caption of the releases, though he just showed the names of LoC (90 euros), the changeling (25 euros) Start colecting( same as usual but, according to said caption we get 10 pink horros, 3 screamers and flamers, an herald and a chariot) and the blue horror box (which says that you'll be able to make 10 blue horros and 10 brimstone horrors. 25 euros all together

Which box? The only ones would be the changeling (which makes sense, he's plastic now) and the LoC (which is a kit like the B-thirster now).

So no answer on the the other boxes. The SC box doesn't verify the contents of the others. There are other SC boxes with only half of a box of figures.

Still, I would bet money at this point it's a direct price increase. Baring any new spru I don't see any other explanation.

That would make the SC box discount rather slim. $87,50 by my math (USD prices), which would only be a $2,50 discount... Or if there's some plastic herald I overlooked 2,50 + $heraldprice which is still less than any other sc box.

IMO this basically confirms the price rise on reboxing but hey let's hope I'm wrong

Your math is waaaaay off I'd say. Going on american dollars we have:

chariot 40 bucks.
screamers 29.75 bucks
flamers 20bucks

That alone comes to 89.75 dollars, then there's the 29 dollars of the horrors and the cost of the herald on foot.

the herald foot is part of the chariot. Unless they release a new clampack (which I seriously doubt)

Yeah, that kinda confirms a price hike on those models as the savings on the box drops to $15 if they doubled up the screamers and flamers. That's a bit sad. But then again tzeentch was in a funny place of not having an expensive elite choice like khorne and nurgle. Guess we'll have to see.

Indeed. You could build the SC with the Herald on the Chariot and Exalted Flamer on "foot" if you wanted to.

*shrugs* the image DOES mention them as separate entities. Since I haven't bought daemons ever I don't know if it comes as a separate base or not.

Nevertheless we are looking at something like 33-35 dollar savings if I'm not too mistaken, better than start collecting space marines (27), space wolves (31) or necrons (28,75).

Perhaps not the best but not even close to the worst.

EDIT: oh, true. Well, we shall wait and see, shall we?

Yes, he does come with a separate base according to the product description:

Though this kit can be made into variants, should you equip your model with the Exalted Flamer, you are provided with a base to make the Herald of Tzeentch on foot.

In their defense Sigmar did still have Nagash as a major ally at the time so probably thought they'd be able to hold the line together and that Nagash would bend the rules for Sigmar's fallen people.

Didn't work out that way, unfortunately.

As for the Empire uniforms, that seems to be a strong color-scheme due to Sigmar's influence over the people in Azyrheim and his memories/studies of the World-that-was. They retained alot of the heraldry as well(though with new titles) due to honoring those ancient warriors that battled chaos.

Though, as the vanguard have shown, the Azyrheim forces will eventually take cues from the mortal realms and adjust their uniforms accordingly.

Oh, also, it got washed away in the flood of recent news but I'd just like to say I love Blanche's artworks.

His style is surreal but it makes you feel like your genuinely staring into another world.

No mate, new prices are 25 for flamers, 35 for screamers, 35 for pinkies. If that's 6,6,20 a box as previously suggested (since apparently GW price rises are unthinkable now ) add those up and divide them by two, then add the cost of the chariot which includes the herald. Presto, just $87,50. Now assuming they do raise prices, it comes to $135. Which is about right. So yeah, flamers, screamers and pink horrors are getting a price bump.

Something that I thought of. We keep thinking they'll get the chaos knights treatment (ie: doubled up) but what if they get the chaos warriors treatment? The current box went from twelve to sixteen, they added an additional sprue and didn't double the size. MAAAAYBE we are getting 4 screamers instead of three.

Or they aren't being doubled up. Pink horrors are basic infantry, none of the current boxes got doubled up: saurus warriors went from 12 to sixteen, same as chaos warriors.

I'm not sure the Screamer and Flamer sprues are designed in a way that would make a 4 man box possible without a recut and redesign.

The Pink Horrors could probably become a 15man box with little effort, though.

Screamers of Tzeentch sprues

Flamers of Tzeentch sprues

Screamers wouldn't work as anything other than multiples of three. With Flamers it looks like you could do a four model kit, but you'd have half a sprue that you would never use.
