Hi all. After finally abandoning Warseer (and all the bile there) i've decided to join you guys, who seem to be a much nicer group of people But anyway, i'm a big LoTR player, so i've decided to show off some of my work. I hope everyone likes and i would enjoy some critique

I have always liked that Gandalf model of him on the cart. You did a good job on it!

Some really nice work on all those figures. The palantir, though, is really beautiful looking. Great work!

Thanks all Heres' a few more pieces. So what's everyone's opinion on the confirmed re-releases that are going to be showing up at warhammer fest? Armoured mtd and foor Boromir, Gothmog foot and mounted and the Scouring of the Shire most surprisingly.

Really nice looking Balrog! Kudos for getting the flames shaded correctly.

Boromir and Gothmog are both very welcome returns as they are important characters for their respective armies. I am a bit surprised, though, at the rerelease of the Scouring the Shire miniatures. I didn't think there was that much interest in that set and the associated scenarios, except among rabid completists like myself (and I've already got the original box and scenario book).

I believe there is high demand for that set from people who want to convert a Thorin's company on ponies.

Also nearly impossible to play a Hobbit army without those four heroes.

Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

Pretty sure the Scouring of the Shire minis regularly go for insane (even by collector standards) prices on Ebay, so it's a smart move bringing them back... I wonder if the other uber-expensive models like the original Mounted Gandalf or Mahud King will near the top of the queue for a reprint?

Price will be king for me, I'm like to get the rereleased Mountend Boromir but if they're asking anywhere near the £27 they want for the last lot of Hobbit F&M blisters, they can sod off!

Nice work on all that stuff, Gideon!
