As I said when the faq is official it may all change however the faq currently only forbids rerolling blasts with reroll 1 abilities such as preferred enemy. You can still reroll gets hot results of 1 with twinlinked and similar abilities. This is given express permission in the rulebook under gets hot and reroll abilities. The Paragraph even specifically calls out rerolling gets hot results of 1 for weapons that do not roll to hit if it has twinlinked.

To Gitbusta or not to Gitbusta, that's the question.
Twin super shootas are nice, especially on a 360 turret with interceptor... But 20 points does make this plane expensive!
It's the same cost as the super shoota upgrade on a dakkajet, which I don't mind paying (and for the cost, the Gitbusta is better), it just raises the overall cost quite a bit.

The cost is one thing. Target priority is the other.
While str6 ap4 is decent it doesn't really pair well with a str8 ap2 (with Insta death) and str4+d6 ap1 weapons of the wazbom.
Target wise I'm likely going after MC, gargantuans, and 2+3+ save targets with the wazbom blasts and smasha gun. You can even use the wazbom as anti vehicle in a pinch if needed. However the low str and low ap of the supa shoota makes it ideal for anti hoard.
Furthermore If we start using dfts rules the wazbom is an atk flyer and the supa shoota won't have skyfire either making that interceptor less useful vs other flyers.
It just doesn't pair well at all.
My preferred loadouts will be 145 pts for the wazbom with tellyporta however I may add a kff if i fly multiple flyers and want them to have a 5++ as well.
You know what I'd like to see? The stikkbomb flinga as a cheap upgrade for all ork flyers. Modeling wise the attachment fits into any flyer unless you take the grot gunner. But even a single 5++ sv is a huge help for ork flyers that die easily.

Totally agree there, would make a great general upgrade for flyers.

You know, I was unimpressed by the gitbusta initially, and I don't disagree that it doesn't mesh well with the AP2/1 weapons on the wazbommer, but it 360 firing arc (which is pretty huge on non hover flyers), and is the exact same price as the extra supashoota on the dakkajet.
I'd think it would be semi-useful as protection from other flyers (especially with interceptor), but no skyfire is annoying.

The extra suppa shoota on the dakka jet is an auto include for me because of the target priority is the same.
I'd say if you like the extra supa shoota go for it especially with a detschment that can waagh each turn and the fact no one plays dfts right now standard. 20 pts is a lot but it is an assault wpn and this means you can fire it twice for 6x str6 ap4 shots. Looking at it that way it's not bad at all. However 165 for a ork flyer without KFF upgrade is a crap ton of points and 190 with KFF is pretty ridiculous considering how fragile it is.

Yeah, it's a bit pricey. I would take either the supa shoota or the KFF, but never both. And if I took a KFF, I'd be taking a flyer wing, so the would be no need for the extra supa shoota as I'd be flying with dakkajets.
Quick point - waaagh planes don't double your shots, they just add one shot now. :(
I'm personally a bit miffed that apparently dakkajets get -1 BS to ground targets. They are TERRIBLE at anti-air, but great at anti-ground (infantry). I only hope that they still have strafing run, as snap firing at ground targets basically make them a never-take option, for me.

They have strafing run still and fly boss only adds +1bs vs flyers. Even the bonus for wing leader will only add +1bs vs flyers for dakkajets. I still like dakkajets though even if people play with dfts rules. Bs2 twinlinked could be a lot worse.
Let's be honest too I'm usually jinking with my dakka jets because of av10. Meaning in probably snap shooting a good majority of the time regardless.
Want to make dakka jets scream look at this formation.
Ork skwadron (death from the skies) (6 models min, but 3 wing leader buffs)
3 flyer wings (2+ models per wing)
Chosen from blitza, burna, dakka
Special rule(s): 1 wing has +1bs and +1 agility and +1jink.
If all the flyer wings are within 24in of each other and in atk patterns they can flat out and shoot same turn.
Think about the above formation for a sec let's take 2 dakka jets. Put them in a vigilance pattern (+1 jink and +1bs vs flyers) give him the wing bonus above for +1 bs and +1 jink. You now have 2 dakka jets with 2+ jink(3+ jink on second dakkajet) and the wing leader is likely AV12 or ignores lost hull on 5+. Put the other bombers wings in vigilance atk pattern (+1 jink and +1str to bombs to front flyer) with each of their wing leaders either av12 or ignores lost hull on 5+. All the flyers can shoot at seperate targets making for some high damage and durable flyers!!!
I wanted to put the other 4 bombers in a fortitude atk pattern for a 4+ invul and interceptor and it will not die however I don't think you can combine two wings like that even if they are in the same formation. (Maybe this is a question someone should ask in the faqs)
