Corsairs. No point in arguing with a marine player, no matter what they are ALWAYS the ones that are weak and needing massive buffs, even when they are in t1 with eldar and tau, I bet most still complain about necrons too!

I hadn't realized Blood Angels and Tyranids were OP... I'm not a great player, but I didn't realize I was that bad haha.

BA are not the best but with the super friends they are dragged along pretty easily, being able to ignore LoS terrain, turn 1 assaults are possible, amazing alpha strike, good armour saves, good movement....

BA are not dragged along because there is no reason to use them in the first place. Allying any other IoM list with superfriends is better. In other words, BA are so bad that they drag down superfriends.

Superfriends are not BA, and I don't play superfriends. Space Marines are good now... but if you're trying to argue that Eldar and Tau are not the two best codex, by a substantial margin, than you're just not being honest.

Space marines struggle to table by turn 3. Eldar don't. Also, Eldar can plop down a bunch of stock units and table people. Space marines need very specific combos and formations.

Tau are good for PUBstomping and nothing more.
Eldar and SM can truly bring the hurt.
YMMV

The new SM psychic powers are MORE than ridiculous, I'll definitely give you that... but the otherwise it's really no contest.

Imbalance between strategies allows differentiation between players based upon their ability to correctly value strategies.
In MTG, not all cards are 'good'. The designers and developers purposely put in 'skill testers' - cards that look good, but are actually not.
Part of the skill selection is ability to correctly evaluate card quality. This is context sensitive (limited versus constructed formats).
What 40K could do with is some different 'formats', in which different units could be valued differently. In fact, EW versus Maelstrom does this - mobility and objective secured are way more important in some missions versus others.
Just my 2p... what do you guys think?

This. I'd like to see more varied ITC missions. MOst of them are Maelstromy, in which Eldar/ SM/Daemons stomp due to MSU and mobility. Now killpoints is a whole different manner, when I keep summoning Pink Horrors and you keep blowing them off the board.

The Angels of Death supplement is absurd. It pains me every time xenos complaints rise and the community pretends marines aren't just as absurd.

I vote Eldar on this. Tau are overpowered, yes, but Eldar have some wacky psychic powers that could kill you in an instant (or so I hear)

INSANE army lists still available!!!! Now being written in 8th edition format! I have Index Imperium 1, Index Imperium 2, Index Xenos 2, Codex Orks Codex Tyranids, Codex Blood Angels and Codex Space Marines!
PM me for an INSANE (100K+ points) if you desire.

I gotta ask, who actually, ACTUALLY, plays marines and says they aren't overpowered or at least competitive? BA and BT aside, I play DA and I admit that they're on par with Tau and Eldar....if you run cheese builds. I run a pretty standard CAD, with 2 bikes units for funsies, some dreads, maybe a librarian and devastators, and a landraider. Even then, I only bring Grav if my opponent brings a Necron Decurion. Half the people I see complaining that Marines keep saying they're underpowered don't actually play Marines. Do I wish the standard Bolter was better? Yes. Did I ask for the stupidity that is the Gladius or the Ravenwing Jink rule? No.

Because they are not the best 'by a substantial margin' The new marines absolutely destroy itc tau and but up a very good fight vs eldar, with eldar winning. Marines have been and will always be used as the baseline army, and right now that puts them equal to tau, a bit weaker than eldar and completely op to the rest of the armies.

Eldar because of the warp spiders, psychics and WKs. This is assuming people are smart enough to ignore new marine psychics.
