Best way to use Lucius The Eternal and Slaanesh CSM in general

I'm currently trying to build an Emperor's Children army and I REALLY want to take Lucius because I like his model. Though I cannot for the life of me figure out what he should run with because I understand he;s not great as I built a Crimson Slaughter Chaos Lord that for 10 points more will out kill and out live him sadly. I still want to try and make him work. Just curious how anyone else would run him and how others have run Slaanesh CSM/Daemons because any list I've tried making has huge holes in it I think.

To be honest, Lucius is garbage. Straight up garbage. He's in the running for one of the worst named HQ's for sure.

And yet, he will wreck most other named CSM characters in a challenge. The problem with Lucius is that he's supposed to be a character hunter but he hasn't got AP2 weapons. If you don't expect to face any +2 saves, then take him and have fun.

They should really update his rule so that if he is killed in a challenge, you roll a die and on a 5 or 6 he takes the place of the model that killed him, with however many wounds the model had left.

Can you imagine seeing bloodthirsters running away from him?!
He should also be able to run in the shooting phase and still charge.

Lucius has his own Doom Siren, so he can be amusing in a squad of Noise Marines with a second Doom Siren on the champ.

"Most other" is the most exaggerated thing ever. Yeah, he might beat Ahriman in a fight. And? He can't go through Typhus or Abigail or Zhufor, Kharn has Hatred and hits enough with the 2+, Fabius can get in just one hit for ID, and Necrosis has a Force Sword.
Lucius is garbage and doesn't do anything we can't get elsewhere.
