I finished building the models last night and wanted to familiarize myself with the rules before inviting friends over.

The game opened up with the barbarian charging into the first corridor, splitting a pink horror into two and cleaving into a lone acolyte with the same deathblow. Not yet exhausted he easily dispatched the blue horrors that rose from the blubbery pink corpse.
In retaliation the acolyte and brimstone horrors did a mere single wound, they would surely die in the next round. If only destiny was that kind...........he had been facing his enemy with his back to the portal when an enraged thaumaturge emerged. It was a minotaur, but not like any other that I had seen in the past. It was smaller and carried a staff. He dispatched the foes in front of him and turned to face the beast, but not fast enough as he was met with hooves to the face. Things were looking grim, he was exhausted from amount of wounds endured. When out of the shadows a warrior priest appeared granting him enough strength to dispatch the Tzeentch beast. As he began a respite, to regain health and find treasure for the perils ahead, he turned to thank the stranger. But he was gone, as mysteriously as he appeared; he disappeared.

Blingin with a sweet new ring, he ventured to the next room where 3 tzzangors stood. He charged the birdman that was armed with a great axe and cleaved it in two; almost killing the shielded brethren next to it. As the creatures attacked back, most likely enraged by the fall of their bro, they wore down the barbarian. He fought back with what strength he had, killing the birdman with the shield. But alas destiny was not going to bail him out this time and he fell.........to a squaking bird. The equivalent of Chamberlain from the dark crystal.

I can't wait to play with more people, and the warscrolls for AoS are really interesting. There is practically an entire chaos army in the box. https://www.games-workshop.com/resources/PDF/AoS_Warscrolls/aos-whquest-rules-en.pdf

But does anyone know how the pink horrors work in AoS? There isn't a warscroll for them on the silver tower page. The WS on the main webpage for pink horrors is from when they didn't split into blue horrors.

I'd reckon that horrors work exactly the same (https://www.games-workshop.com/resources/PDF/AoS_Warscrolls/aos-warscroll-pink-horrors-of-tzeentch-en.pdf). If the silver tower gives you a different scroll for them you can choose which one to use.

It's the same scroll as the older one, with the splitting info put on the Blue Horrors instead. So you can use this one!

Yep. Also has the nice aspect that if you have blue horrors you can split and the rules for doing so are on their war scroll, but if you don't have them there is no redundant information on the pink horror warscroll.

Worth noting that the starter scenario is very easy with a full party of 4, its only once players have accumulated skills that the tower starts to get punishing (because respites can turn into a roll on the nastiest encounter table).

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
