After looking at the dread I did a while back, I got to thinking it needed something more. So I took it off it's base and added some touches. I've posted before and after shots. Let's see which one you like better. At the end there is a picture of the newest project that I am working on. I really need to get a good camera.

So I have been busy and neglecting to update this. I guess that's what people do on here. hehe I have a gotten further on the squad I started on. Not finished yet but it's getting there.More work in the future.







We have a local Brotherhood of the Brush competition every month and I had to get ready for that too. The entrys have to be in by 5pm Saturday for judging. Here is my entry.

New things on the horizon. More termies and a big guy for the army. Armies on Parade this coming weekend at my local store. I will post pics afterward. I can't tip my hand at what I'm bringing.

So all in all we had 13 different people show up for Armies On Parade at my local GW store on Saturday. Congrats to everyone that showed up. It was a great turn out. I like to see so many different paint schemes, conversions, and color displays.

And now some pictures of my display and my models. How I did is at the end of the pics.

















I did take home the gold.

The finish on all these is simply stunning, hats of to you sir.

Congratulations, well earned!

It's been a month since my last update. Took some time off of painting and getting back to it now.

First up are some ghouls for Sigmar. I was lucky enough that a good friend gave them to me. I hope that I do them justice.



And the first test model. Still looking for the right look before I paint up tons of these guys.







Then for the monthly local painting competition at the end of the month, I thought I would put in one of my assassins. The theme was "sneaky". I copied an idea I saw online for a different style of paint job for the Callidus. A take off of Harley Quinn. I really didn't care for the hoses that came off of the back pack so I clipped them off.

How on earth did you do that residue/sticky blood stuff on the fingers of ghouls? looks cool as!

Not having much time to work on stuff really sucks. I finally got these to a point worthy of taking some pictures. Just the blood and guts left to put on them. I have a couple with that but will post when they are all done.

I will post something about the sticky blood stuff next time.

Ghouls look really awesome. Great color scheme.

Callidus looks excellent. Really like what you've done with the hair.

There are some perfectly creepy and gross things in here well done! The blood on the ghouls hands is one of the first models i've seen that i think actually made me feel a bit sick.

and that is good, painting wise.

I finished off the ten man this morning. Here's a couple of group shots and some single models.

Something new on the table for my Death Guard. Typhon. He will get the same treatment that I did for Mortarion.
