I stumbled across a horror film, late one night, very drunk, quite a few years back. Watched the latter part of it and it's been bugging me to know what it was.
A city, inhabitants possessed I think or otherwise under the sway of...
Evil, like the embodiment of it, in the sewers and such, a big black miasma/force.
Rescue/good guys using some kind of big armored truck to travel about in.
Some old guy as mentor, I want to say either David Warner or Max Von Sydow, or even maybe Christopher Plummer. I think towards the end he's possessed by the evil essence.
I think it might have been set in a northerly American city or possibly a Canadian one.
Any guesses?
