Nothing wrong with Preorders from an established company like CMoN.

I don't mind the preorder aspect, but I do worry they will fall into the same pattern Mantic has where they only support a game until their next KS and then neglect the game for the new Kickstarted game.

I am happy with how they are handling Wrath of Kings, and Dark Age. I wish it was easier for my local store to get their stuff in though.

I think it's obvious that some CMoN games are one and done, like SMOG and DoW. Nothing wrong with that.

It's probably a mix of negative experiences and the same thing that causes all miniature games to die: no one else plays them. If I buy a KS game, I have no guarantees that I will ever get a game in; while if I put that money into X-wing or 40K I have an established gaming group. Once the allure of KS being new wears off (and it has) then people get brutally pragmatic.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

Yeah, but it's not like everybody in your gaming group needs a copy of Zombicide for you guys to enjoy it.

Just one copy is enough for everyone.
