Assuming they are counting down...
12-Adeptus Mechanicus Onager Dunecrawler
11-Monolith
10-Hammerhead Gunship
9-Leman Russ Demolisher
8-Baneblade
7-Basilisk
6-Exorcist ( )
5-Hydra
4-Space Marine Land Raider
3-Whirlwind ( )
2-Predator
1-Leman Russ
Just a weird list.
If we assume it's website only it makes a bit more sense to see the Whirlwind (web exclusive IIRC) and Exorcist (definitely web exclusive). We also have to assume they didn't include transports hence no Rhino/Razorback or Chimera. The Monolith and Landraider presumably are more tanky than transporty for these purposes.

The guys at my local GW store were pondering that list when it first cropped up. In particular they were baffled by the exorcist.
It didn't seem so odd to me, the exorcist has been a consistent top performer in the Sisters' codex and anyone who seriously plays them has or wants to have three of them- that and it's likely they're using their Web order numbers of which the exorcist has a boost for not being available in stores.
They didn't agree, and decided it was cumulative sales since the dawn of time and the exorcist is clearly using the old tiny rhino hull in the picture... Yeah, OK.
The whirlwind is also a popular counts-as for exorcists too.

Whirlwinds also do fine on their own merits. They are part of a number of formations, working as a decent low-point cost filler. They also gain some nice perks for squadroning up to 3. And due to their low points, you can actually fit that into a list. Unlike trying to get 3 preds/vindis into anything reasonably sized.

Whirlwinds are my MVP basically every game I take them. No one that buys them buys just one ether - you buy 3 so you can get the squadron perks.
These are excellent anti eldar as they have sufficient range and don't require line of sight to kill warp spiders. Excellent anti Necron as most necron roll with a 4+ save and gaining shred are actually one of the best anti warrior units for the cost. VS Ravenwing they can deny the reroll jink save with ignore cover and still have shred to put some wounds on a unit you have no to her method to kill. You will always have something to shoot at with these puppies.
It doesn't surprise me that they are a top seller at all. What does surprise me is the Russ. It doesn't have great rules, it's ugly, and IG are pretty outdated in general.

Not sure what sales period we're talking here, and we can't be 100% sure that these images aren't fudged so that they reflect what they want to be best sellers. That said, if we're talking about best sellers over the past year to date, I am also surprised by the Exorcist. However, we do have to remember that there ARE people that buy the models just for the look. In that sense, the Dune Crawler, the Exorcist, the Hammerhead, and the Monolith make sense, since they're both amazing models with distinct flavours.
The rest are probably a mix of people buying what they're playing, hence why the rest is almost entirely Space Marines. Leman Russ' are the core of Imperial Guard, no matter how "bad" they are. It's an iconic vehicle, and that does mean something.

One of the cheapest Aux choices for completing a BDC is the Suppression Force which requires a Landspeeder and 2-3 Whirlwinds. I'm not terribly surprised to see them in the top 10.

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

How's exorcist so good? It's d6 s8 ap1 shots for 100+ points after all. In a codex full of s8 ap1. I guess it all has to do with range adn no other choices.

I want a HH Gunship for my army maybe even two just to paint, but priority right now is FW stuff so I can then get back to regular GW stuff. I want to get a Dunecrawler just to paint since they look cool same with Monoliths. Not as much a fan of the IG stuff as I used to be when I was younger. And I'm not a Spezz Marine player so none of their stuff.
Baneblades are awesome though.

I wouldn't read too much into the exact positions of the vehicles - if anything, the more popular options are usually at the top, which is the norm in eCommerce. (On average, people only spend a few minutes on an online shop, so you want to grab them with the best stuff you can as quickly as possible. But that principle might be different for a collection-based hobby such as this one.)
As for the actual vehicles in the list, it's more likely that they came up with a smaller list based on sales over the past month and then decided to add in a few extra random vehicles to drive up their sales.

The bestseller lists are bogus. The bestselling lists are a Pr stunt designed to promote sale of these products. IE "Oh, everyone's buying hammerheads so I should get one too." This is because hammerheads are suffering because Riptides. For space marines the only sale of tanks is for Razorbacks as they are dominant among the SM vehicles for their cheapness and versatility. Etc.

Nah Hammerheads have always been bad. Way back in the old edition Broadsides were cheaper and put out more STR 10 shots for a more price efficient point and I think back then had access to an upgrade to make them relentless.
The HH was more mobile and durable and had access to the unique tank commander we have which made them sort of okay to take one way back then.

You get the immolator sprue in there bit not the clear plastic canopy part (that's the part that's unavailable which is why they pulled the immolator)

Don’t get me wrong, I love the falcon and the fire prism. But a wave serpent does pretty much everything they do, is tougher, and can haul a bunch of guys around. They might not be as over the top as they used to be, but the best Eldar tank is still our APC.
And the WS and battlewagon are probably not being classed as “tanks” by whoever put the list together.
As for the basic LR outselling the LRR/C? My guess is that the majority of people buying land raiders are in it for the fluff and looks. The Phobos is far more iconic then the Redeemer or the Crusader. Even if the latter two make for better battlefield taxies. 30k might be influencing the numbers as well, as they don’t like those new fangled ones back then.

Take both - The Russ still sells because It's a considerably better investment than Sgt. Chronus for a HQ choice if you absolutely positively have to have armour in your HQ.
Also, Orks can use them fruitfully - they're very very easy to convert - as can some chaos factions.
