No, it's because he's an idiot, a buffoon, a self-serving chancer, who only joined the Leave camp to further his own political ambitions.
Bojo highlights how wretched and corrupt British politics is if people like him can rise to high office.
This is a man who said we should leave the EU because Turkey might join.
Now he's pushing for Turkey to join the EU!
Hopefully, we'll see the day when this non-entity is exiled to a holiday camp in Skegness.

You constantly blame "British politics".
Bozza was elected MP for Henley. He was elected Mayor of London. He was elected for Clwyd, and for Uxbridge.
If Bozza represents the dreadful state of British politics, it is because the British public is dreadful.

You know the old joke about a monkey with a red rosette winning a seat for Labour in Glasgow?
Well, there are parts of England where a dead parrot with a blue rosette could win a seat for the Tories.
The British public is not dreadful, because they vote with their feet, which is why most of them are members of the none of the above party, Britain's fastest growing since the 1990s.

That still puts the blame on the electorate.
Clwyd has had Labour and Conservative MPS. It isn't a safe Con seat. (Henley is.) Mayor of London has been Labour, then Conservative, then Labour.

Blaming the British public for incompetent and inept politicians is a dreadful argument to make.
As I have said, none of the above is the British public's response and who can blame them? Not I.
Our politicians don't like the public nor do they trust them.
We are constantly lectured on how much we should drink or smoke. What we should eat. Our sugar intake.
We can't be trusted to raise our children without the government holding our hands, and for years, we couldn't have a proper debate on immigration because the Westminster elites thought we were all a bunch of drolling racists, ready to attack Eastern Europeans, whilst clutching a copy of the Sun or Daily Mail.
And what of our leaders? David Cameron? Ed Miliband?
Wet blankets who couldn't inspire a lemming to jump off a cliff!
Visionless leaders, glorified PR men, spivs, SPADs and Blairite careerists...
Vote for that? Never!
And finally, before anybody asks, what are you doing about this, well, you guys already know what I'm doing about it: I campaign for Scottish independence. Get me the hell out of the UK.
Rant over!

Yeah - I'd love to become a politician to be honest, just to see if I could change anything as the 'new generation' - it's worth a shot but highly unlikely, and I doubt another politicians would particularly like me very much - I can just see myself making friends with Boris! From the research I've done it seems to take 12 months for you to go from membership to potential candidate - so a 19 year old candidate? I'm hoping the appeal of a youthful change would get me to the top - but again, seriously unlikely, unfortunately

Easily. It has a modern western European economy, with particular strengths in agriculture, tourism, technology and the creative industries. It is self sufficient in energy production, wind power alone powered Scotland's entire electricity grid for the first time a couple of months ago, and it also has oil.
Has Ireland become a client state of the EU?

Yes. Depending on oil prices at the time of leaving, Scotland could find it was self-sufficient and had a spending surplus of a few percent, or had to make budget cuts of a few percent to balance out spending (or more likely, lie to the public and borrow extensively instead, as governments as wont to do). But it generates enough income generally and has a good enough infrastructure it would be alright even if there did have to be some belt-tightening.

I did some research on it a year or two ago, Scotland would need to seriously tighten its belt in order to remain self sufficient. Like to the tune of several billion pounds a year if I remember correctly.

I presume that is based on the GERS data? There are there fundamental problems with that dataset. Firstly is not very accurate and can be altered quite easily, secondly an independent Scotland would have different taxation and expenditure than it does as part of the UK and thirdly around 40% of Scotland's budget is withheld by Westminster for 'reserved' matters like HS2 or Trident.
There will be a period of flux, that's inevitable, but there is no reason to assume that an independent Scotland would be financially embarrassed over the medium to long term.

It was. Luckily they have only recently release this financial year's one.

Scotland is currently running a 12.7 Billion pound deficit, or about 9% of GDP.

I'm not having a go at you welshhoppo, because you're not the only person to have made this point, but it's a point that seriously annoys me. Why?
Because every government on planet Earth is running a deficit.
The UK's deficit is at an all time high. It's debt is nearly off the scale, and yet, nobody raises an eyebrow at this.
But Scotland? That's a special case if they ever get in debt. As if no government in the galaxy has ever had to borrow money, or rack up a debt, or a deficit.
I hate the double standards of this argument.
God almight, a few years back, the Bank of England printing presses nearly broke down with all the money they had to print for quantitative easing.
Money, that is essentuially, worthless, because you can print an unlimited amount of it.
And yet, nobody raised an eyebrow at this. If an independent Scotland did it, critics would say it was the prelude to world war three or something.
Ok, rant over.

No offence but you do talk a lot of bollocks sometimes, Do_I_Not_Like_It.
The UK deficit is far lower now than during WW1 or WW2. The Tories have raised a massive eyebrow at it nonetheless and decided the solution is to reduce public spending and taxes. They are wrong, of course, and have perpetuated the recession.
Ho hum.
There's no point you trying to draw conclusions or make points about situations if you don't seem have a grasp of the basic facts. It makes it look like your rants are just that, rants, and therefore to be ignored.
