Fantastic! Awesome blog, Wellofeternity.

Love that the big sticka' is kind of a running gag that they always use or have it in the background.

Edit: Wow, they're actually using flaming arrows to combat tree people. That's surprisingly intelligent, wasn't expecting that from Orruks.

Sooooooo a bit off topic but do bonesplitters hang out with iron jawz? Or are they like enemy waaaghs?

If I remember right the iron jawz are a bit elitist and would look down on the bonesplitterz as inferior. So I don't think they'd really get along.

I'm not really feeling the artwork of this release. The quality is still great and getting better and better but none of the pieces particularly inspire me to rush out and collect Bonespilterz

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

As I said in the 40K thread about bad art, when this was posted there, I will have to say this is actually quite good.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Looks like a flamer.

At first I thought it was something new, but looking closer it appears to just be a flamer.

No not better art. Just ok. The ground or grass is just horrible. I am not liking this style at all. If this is considered good, them my painted minis are excellent. I suck at painting, or just mediocre at painting. So I am sure these art work is not that great. Again for amateurs this is really good art, for a premium professional company that GW claims to be, this is not.

The demon looks like something that came out of Privateer Hordes. Legion of Everblight anyone?

Wow, I kinda feel sorry for you if your art standards are so high that you find this level of quality insufficient. For me this art really gets me engaged and enjoying the setting/fluff, and my overall experience is improved by that.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

I think for me, GW keeps telling me (store employees and some Customer Service guys) that they charge a premium price for a premium product. So when I see GW is releasing non premium product, and wants a premium price for them (those $80 hard cover books) then I am pretty harsh on it. The $40 books, I can find this understandable, because I find worth in ti, but the the others (Realmgate books?) I don't find the worth in it at all.

Some of these pictures are cool some aren't. None of them are close to what I picture when I think bout Greenskins.
GW's new direction for artwork is not something I like. A lot of ot looks like Hero-clicks or Happy meal toys.
I can accept it more in AoS, a game I am only just starting than in 40K a game I've been playing for 20 years.
I'm starting a tribe now. Can't wait!

I will have to admit this is quite good.

I was about to say, "hey no stupid grins" but because the pics were so big, as I was scrolling down to see the other pic, yup there is the stupid grin or smiling face on a yeti on the lower right corner.

Other than that, this is pretty good.

Thanks OP, good work as usual.

The artwork itself is imo weak/ mediocre with few good ones and most importantly characterless. As usual, sadly.

From the initial Age of Sigmar news thread, when its "feature" list was first confirmed:
Kid_Kyoto wrote:
It's like a train wreck. But one made from two circus trains colliding.

A collosal, terrible, flaming, hysterical train wreck with burning clowns running around spraying it with seltzer bottles while ring masters cry out how everything is fine and we should all come in while the dancing elephants lurch around leaving trails of blood behind them.

How could I look away?
