Here are a couple things I finished recently. Figured I'd post and get some C&C

Leviathan. The lions rampant flanking the sword are my coat of arms and will be showing up and a lot of my models from here out.

And here they are together. Weapons switched sides to show they are magnetized

Well done on the yellow! It's quite a hard color to paint, I hear. What colors did you use?

Thanks. I do a pretty simple yellow. Averland sunset and a glaze or two of Lamenter's yellow. It makes a nice smooth Amber but it doesn't get the more difficult sunflower yellow. I line the cracks with purple, as opposed to brown. That's my little twist.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Y'all keep me motivated.

The Imperial Fists have always been my favorite chapter, and you've done them a great justice with this stunning work! Everything about them looks amazing.

I actually don't like the look of the new heresy-era (30k) helmets and armor, but you're brushwork makes that easy to overlook!

Kudos!

Purple, that's an interesting choice. But it works very well indeed!

I use purple because it is the opposite of yellow. The contrast is very pleasing and it makes the yellow pop. It still ends up looking brownish the way the eye perceives it. I would use it for eye lenses too but i have trouble getting it to show up since I often make black helmets.

Nice work! If I had one criticism, it's that the Leviathan weapons look a little flat/unfinished. Maybe a bit of color on the Grav bombard and some steel on the autocannon would help?
