This combines a Purge Detachment of Black Legion with a Combined Arms Detachment of Crimson Slaughter. Please let me know what you think.

Can only take 1 relic per model, BL prince and CS biker lord are illegal.

Crimson slaughter is also illegal since only primary detatchment get cult troops as appropriate to the marked lord.

Suggest replacing the vindicator with MoN oblits.

Wow that sucks about only one relic per model. The Crimson Slaughter is primary detachment so the list is legal apart from relics (plague marines are elites in the purge detachment)

Cimson Slaughter can't be your primary since Primary is determined by where your warlord comes from.

Edit: (You've got Huron listed as Warlord from the Purge detatchment, meaning that's your primary)

Ah thanks you are right... One thing, where does it say in rules Chaos Lord can't have more than one relic? I believe you just can't find it. Really ruins some great combinations with Daemonheart.

It's in the draft FAQ, so it depends on your opponent whether you use it already.
I'd suggest making the "possessed lord" a possessed sorcerer, that way you could summon daemons. And personally, I think that's the only reason why I would ever take that relic...

Butthurt loyalist players try to claim CSM can't because they cant, but the CSM codex and supplements do indeed allow multiple relics on characters.

Actually, it's from the BRB/General FAQ, not the one specific to vanilla marines.



Just because you're all salty that you were reading the rules incorrectly, don't try and blame everyone else. I'm a CSM primary player (not that it matters), so please don't try and tar me (or anyone else) with being a hater for pointing out rules inconsist with somebodies list.

I don't know if that is specifically noting otherwise? A Lord has more than one weapon to replace with Chaos Artefacts...

It doesn't say he can replace two weapons with two artefacts, it specifies that one weapon can be replaced by one artefact. I'm a CSM player and I agree that that sounds pretty straightforward. If it said "any one weapon with any one of the following," it might be open to interpretation, but otherwise "one" is pretty straightforward.

Aren't 2 MoN Oblits more expensive than 1 bare bones vindi?

MoN Obliterators are really nice and versatile, have an invul, and are more survivable in most situations than a vindicator. There's arguments both ways i just prefer oblits.

The 1 relic thing was adressed in the FAQ. Not in the book, sadly.
