Hi
A while back I bought a resin drednought off of Ebay. Without getting into details, it's safe to say that whatever it is rhymes with "Bolish Bnock-off".
It's actually pretty nice quality for what it is (provided of course, that it isn't slowly poisoning me), but one of the only places it falls down in is that the pegs that you attach the arms to are too small to fit with dreadnought weapons. I'm quite keen on being able to swap them around.
TLDR: how do I thicken pegs for dreadnought arms?
I've been doing it with citadel thin superglue for a while, which was standard procedure for thickening up parts in my gundam days, but progress is eye-wateringly slow. Is there a faster way?

Thicker Plasti card rod placed around the peg?
Greenstuff or milliput some extra 'girth'
Remove the pegs drill out some holes and add magnetise the arms?

Chop the peg out, drill and replace with a brass rod or such of correct size. Kinda a mutated pinning?

Magnetise with good big magnets 10-15mm or so should support the weight. As long as you have an electric drill it's pretty easy to do.

They don't even need to be that big. 8mm works just fine.

Hell, for a Dread even 8mm is overkill. I use 5x2mm to hold the arm joints on my Knight. The Volkite weapon on my Styrix has to use a specific arm, but that's not Really a problem.
That's just because I didn't get all N52 magnets when I bought more, but you should be fine even with resin arms using 5x2mm magnets on a Dreadnought.

Your problem isn't unique to your dread, I am pretty sure the pegs on the resin dreads are just smaller than the holes in the arms ( even the resin arms).
I magnetised the arms on my FW Venerable Space wolf Dread with 5 x 2 mm Neodymium magnets. They are more than strong enough to hold them in place, anything larger would be overkill for sure.

Take some regular paper, cut a strip off the edge and wrap it around the peg. You could use a dab of PVA glue I suppose for convenience. Should be able to get the peg to fit quite tightly into the hole whilst remaining loose enough to swap for another arm.
Just a cheap and cheerful trick until you get around to something more sophisticated, like the magnets.

I do wanna try magnetizing at some point - I've set aside a gaggle of terminators to try it out on, but I want to get other stuff finished first.

Terminators are at the edge of ease to magnetize, because of the stocky shoulder joints they have.
There's also a lot of tutorials and introductions out there for magnetizing, so you have no shortage of material to look over before you start.
