"Trump on Obama: "Why doesn't some woman say what they say about me about him?""

it is a puzzle indeed.

A cynical man might make mention of the vast number of stories -- coming from the right -- about Obama actually being a homosexual or whatever so that might be it.

But we'll just have to file this as another mystery alongside why Winston Churchill -- despite making literally hundreds if not thousands of speeches in his career -- never once denied being Jack the Ripper .

Or why Hugh Hefner has never been charged with war crimes in SE Australia.

Or why Mr Rogers wasn't arrested and charged with multiple murders like David Berkowitz.

When o when will the sheeple wake up !

If anybody is wondering why women don't tell people when they are sexually assaulted right away, this thread is a great example why.

Yes it is, and I can know see why some people claim we have a problem with a rape culture and a culture that loves to blame the victims.

Trump on bills victims, they're victims and should be given the benefit of the doubt

trump on his victims, they're all liars and that one is to ugly for me to rape.

and let's keep in mind he doesn't just rape women, he rapes children. speaking up against a man who threatens to murder your family and has the money and power to make that happen is not easily overcome. But since he himself denied groping women, after admitting he does it, during a national presidential debate, his victims realized they were not alone and found their strength to speak up.

The Man Providing Trump’s Alibi Has A Long History In UK Political Sex Scandals
Anthony Gilberthorpe previously sold surveillance footage of a British politician having sex to newspapers and claimed to have provided underage prostitutes to cabinet ministers.

The British man who has provided an alleged alibi for Donald Trump over allegations of sexual assault was previously involved in providing UK tabloid newspapers with secretly filmed footage of a politician having sex, ran a failed antiques business which was investigated by police after it went bankrupt, and was involved in a landmark libel case during the 1980s over claims he was “promiscuously homosexual.”
In addition, Anthony Gilberthorpe has also previously made a series of unsubstantiated claims that he provided underage male prostitutes for politicians at the Conservative party’s annual conferences.
Gilberthorpe, 54, intervened in the US presidential election on Friday by giving an interview to the New York Post in which he insisted businesswoman Jessica Leeds is lying when she claims Trump groped her in first class on a flight to New York City in the early 1980s.

The retired businessman, who would have been a teenager at the time of the incident, contacted the Trump campaign to say he remembered being on the flight and saw nothing untoward. The campaign then passed his comments on to the New York Post.
“I have only met this accuser once and frankly cannot imagine why she is seeking to make out that Trump made sexual advances on her,” Gilberthorpe told the newspaper, relying on his memory. “Not only did he not do so (and I was present at all times) but it was she that was the one being flirtatious.

“What she said about Trump is wrong. I mean, no decent human being could sit by and have a woman go on television and tell the United States of America — accuse an individual of sexually molesting. It’s wrong for Trump, it’s wrong for me. But you know something else? It’s wrong for the American people.”
GIlberthorpe has a long history of involvement in political and legal sex scandals dating back three decades.
He first came to prominence as a Conservative party activist in May 1988 when he won £49,000 in a landmark libel case against a number of British newspapers which had carried a report implying he was gay.
According to news reports accessed by BuzzFeed News which are not available online, Gilberthorpe sued over reports that implied “he had AIDS and was a promiscuous homosexual.”

The reports claimed Gilberthorpe was resigning from a local council because he was being investigated for allegedly visiting an AIDS clinic in New York and had phoned up a news agency to share the information. Gilberthorpe later denied this and claimed the journalist had approached him out of the blue and had made up key details.
Gilberthorpe, who as a young man had inherited £250,000 from an elderly bachelor whom he lodged with, successfully insisted in court that he was not gay. His initial legal victory relied heavily on testimony from a family friend and Conservative member of parliament called Piers Merchant, who insisted he overheard the original phone call with the journalist.
However, according to a later report in The Observer, the libel verdict was later overturned in a highly unusual move when “three judges ordered a retrial after being presented with ‘credible if not incontrovertible’ evidence that Gilberthorpe had lied in court and was, in fact, promiscuously homosexual.”
According to the newspaper, it also emerged that an advertisement placed in The Times announcing his engagement to an American girl named Leah Bergdorf-Hunt and designed to explain his time in the US was a hoax and “the girl did not exist outside Gilberthorpe’s imagination.”
Afterwards, Gilberthorpe requested state funding to help fight another libel trial, but that never happened and the case was eventually struck out in 1993 before he had received the bulk of the damages.
Four years later, Gilberthorpe was back in the headlines after filming his friend Merchant – the MP who had initially helped him to the great libel victory – having sex with an 18-year-old nightclub hostess.
Gilberthorpe, who has previously worked as a researcher for Merchant in the House of Commons, rigged his flat in the northern city of York with secret cameras, invited the pair to stay, and then filmed them having sex. He then sold the footage to the Sunday Mirror for around £25,000.
Merchant, who was married with children, was forced to quit parliament after his former friend exposed the affair. The scandal dominated the headlines for days and at one point the footage of the couple having sex was broadcast on cable TV.
Gilberthorpe then focused on running a York-based antiques business called Stonegate Antiques Centre, although this ceased trading in 2002 with disputed debts of more than £200,000. According to the York Press, Gilberthorpe faced bankruptcy as a result of the decision. He was briefly investigated by police over the collapse of the business, although they found there was no charge to answer.
His most recent appearance in the press occurred in 2014 when, during a spate of claims of systematic child abuse at the top of the British establishment, he once again returned to the Sunday Mirror and told them that he had supplied Conservative cabinet ministers with underage prostitutes for sex parties during the 1980s.
In a detailed but unverified account, dated to around the time he was apparently on a plane next to Trump, Gilberthorpe talked of watching Tory ministers having sex with the boys after they had been drinking and taking cocaine.
He also claimed that he warned former prime minister Margaret Thatcher of what was happening and that he once had to shelter some of the prostitutes from an IRA bomb.
“It was held on the night before the bomb went off and afterwards one MP crudely joked that it was a good job it was, or there would have been rent boys falling through the floor,” he claimed to the newspaper.

He also talked of his awe of politicians: “I was just 17 when I first went to a conference in Brighton in 1978. I couldn’t believe I was rubbing shoulders with all these important people and I couldn’t believe that they were taking such a keen interest in me. I would have done anything for them because I was so desperate to make it in politics.”
He told the newspaper he decided to come forward with the detailed recollection several decades after the events “because he fears an Establishment cover-up.”

The basis of that friendship needs to be something better than "Trump wants to build a golf course in Siberia" or something along those lines.

Interesting article about the impending civil war ready to engulf the GOP after November.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/oct/15/republican-party-after-donald-trump-paul-ryan

A lot of people seem to think that the GOP brand has been so badly tainted by Trump, that the 2020 Presidential may be up in smoke as well.

There is a grain of truth in this, but as one former British Prime Minister said: "A week is a long time politics."

Who knows what the GOP will do between now and 2020?

In the UK a few years ago, much-loved children's entertainer Jimmy Saville was accused posthumously of child sexual abuse. Once the first allegations had been made, a staggering number of people came forward to make their own accusations. It seemed unbelievable for a time that he could have been doing this for decades and nobody would come forward, but as we came to learn, that's how predators work--isolate the victims, make them think they'd never be believed, that they really wanted this, or their lives would be ruined if they did speak up.

So not saying anything about guilt or innocence here, but it's completely plausible that an abuse victim would keep silent for decades.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich."

Often, the abuser is in a position of authority. Or is someone that is more "credible" in the eyes of the abused. If Trump did the stuff he is accused of doing, I can easily believe that the people would keep quiet for a variety of reasons. "Who would believe me", "that's just part of being in the business", "I need to win this contest", etc. I can also believe that victims who have kept quiet for years could see the tapes, then watch him deny the things they accuse him off, and decide that this is the final push needed.

You often see more victims step out once the first victim makes the brace step to come out of the shadows alone.

Frankly it doesn't matter anyway.

Unlike the American politician who accused his opponent of having sex with pigs to make him issue a denial, Trump is condemned out of his own mouth.

He himself boasted on tape of groping women. Women then came forward to accuse him of groping them.

Draw your own conclusions.

Yeah, my point wasn't so much as "well, maybe he did this", as The Airman flat out accepts he did as a foregone conclusion. "I have no doubt Trump has had his way with some women", he posts. I mean, think about that.

Just wow.

The damage to Trump and the GOP will far outweigh any benefit. The republicans already catch a lot of scrutiny for their voter "fraud" actions, and this is a specific event that the opposition can use as a central pin for a larger smear campaign. That they have completely brought upon themselves.

I look forward to the continued demise of the GOP as karma continues its work.

A progressive advocacy group is launching an advertising campaign accusing Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who also is the Republican vice-presidential nominee, of allowing voter suppression after state police raided the offices of a voter registration program aimed at signing up African Americans.

Patriot Majority USA will place the ads on black-oriented radio stations and in print and online with black newspapers throughout the state starting Saturday, said the group’s director, Craig Varoga. Patriot Majority is affiliated with the Senate Majority PAC, a super PAC that supports Democratic candidates.

On Oct. 4, one week before the state’s deadline to register to vote, state police raided the Indianapolis office of the Indiana Voter Registration Project, seizing computers, cellphones and records. The state police launched an investigation in late August after elections officials in Hendricks County, a suburb of Indianapolis, alerted authorities to some applications that seemed amiss. A spokesman for the state police told local news media that “at least 10” applications were confirmed to be fraudulent.

Varoga estimates that 45,000 people, most of them African Americans, might not be able to vote on Nov. 8 because their applications were seized during the raid. The group has asked the Justice Department to investigate, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, an advocate for voting rights, sent a letter to Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson asking her to take steps to ensure that eligible voters who signed up through the voter registration drive will not be disenfranchised.

Matthew Lloyd, Pence's deputy chief of staff, said the allegations are “false and so absurd they don't deserve any further response.” Pence made reference to the police investigation during a campaign stop in Iowa on Tuesday.

Spokesmen for Lawson and the state police could not be reached late Friday to determine how many voter applications are affected and what is the status of would-be voters who signed up during the registration drive.

Patriot Majority’s one-minute radio ad opens with a wailing siren and a male announcer referencing the raid: “Indiana state police recently shut down our state’s largest voter registration program. This police raid was under the leadership of Republican Governor Mike Pence. Now 45,000 citizens, almost all African Americans, could lose the right to vote.”

The ad also includes voices of some of the workers at the office. “They singled out one African American male, put him in handcuffs,” one woman says.

“They lined us up against the wall, treated us like criminals,” another woman says. The group also lays out its complaint on a website, dontbetrayindiana.com.

Two days after the raid, the Indiana Voter Registration Project said it had asked the Justice Department to look into the state’s investigation. The Indiana State Police then announced that the investigation had expanded from nine to 56 of the state’s 92 counties.

Varoga said the Indiana Voter Registration Project was launched in May and had hoped to sign up 50,000 voters by the Oct. 11 deadline. Patriot Majority has conducted voter registration drives in 12 other states, Varoga said, and “in no other state have we seen the state police brought in to harass canvassers, to go to homes of canvassers and threaten them with arrest and demanding they take polygraph tests.”

Indiana generally leans red, although President Obama won the state by just over 1 percent in 2008, the first Democrat to take the Hoosier State since 1964. But he lost the state by 11 percentage points to Mitt Romney in 2012. The RealClearPolitics average of polls for the state shows Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump leading Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton by 4.5 percent.

Democrats are hoping that former senator Evan Bayh can win back his old seat, which is being vacated by retiring Sen. Daniel Coats (R). Bayh is in a tight race with Rep. Todd C. Young (R).

The voter registration applications flagged by election officials in Marion and Hendricks counties “contained minor inaccuracies like missing Zip codes and area codes,” Varoga said. “Based on the fact that they found (problems in) 10 forms out of tens of thousands . . . to launch a statewide investigation into a voter registration program is a political agenda. Whether or not it originated in the governor’s office, it clearly has the sanction of the governor and the secretary of state,” he said.

A news release from the state police also stated some of “the forms had missing, incomplete and incorrect information at the time they were submitted by representatives of an organization called the Indiana Voter Registration Project.” That same day, the secretary of state’s office said the group “has turned in forged voter registration applications. The group was altering already registered voter’s information. The group would change the voter's address to an address not associated with the voter without the voter’s knowledge.”

“Election integrity and security is a top priority,” Lawson said in the news release. “We are working with the state police to ensure this matter is addressed quickly.”

At the Iowa campaign event, Pence told the crowd: “In the state of Indiana, we have a pretty vigorous investigation into voter fraud going on right now. And I encourage you here in Iowa, let’s be sure that our state officials are upholding the principle of ‘one person, one vote’ and the best antidote to that is to be involved in the election process. If you are concerned about voter integrity and you haven’t signed up to be a poll watcher, to volunteer at a polling place to be a part of the integrity of that process, then you need to do it.”

Pence’s comments lacked the conspiratorial tone of those made by running mate Donald Trump, who warned his supporters that the presidential election might be stolen from him and has said it might be necessary for them to go to “certain areas” and keep an eye out for people trying to “vote five times.”

In recent years, Republican governors and legislatures, citing concerns about voter fraud, have enacted numerous laws requiring specific forms of identification, curbing early voting periods and requiring additional verification for people trying to register to vote. Such changes accelerated after the Supreme Court struck down a section of the 1965 Voting Rights Act that required states to seek prior approval from the Justice Department. But legal scholars and studies have found that in-person voter fraud is very rare and such laws adversely affect turnout among minorities and younger voters.

We have bigger fish to fry than a presidential candidate who confessed, on tape, to committing sexual assault?
Oh, by the way, if at any point in his "grabbing them by the " his fingers entered their vagina without their consent (even a fraction, even through their underwear), he did rape them.

DoJ definition of Rape:
Penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.

So, tell us again how the slim possibility of Clinton starting a nuclear war with Russia over fething Syria at some undetermined time in the future is more important than Donald Trump potentially having raped women.

You appear to be operating under the assumption that a man who cannot even control his actions enough to not rape people, something which the vast majority of the population manages throughout their entire lives, is somehow less likely to start a war?

Actually yes, I'm confident he would avoid such a catastrophe. Whataboutism runs strong in this election with all sides accusing the other. All I'm saying here is after all the media and federal collusion against such a populist candidate I'm not surprised that allegations of sexual assault start coming out of nowhere. I have no doubt Trump might have groped a woman or had sex but I didn't meant to imply that he might of raped someone. But the bottom line here is suddenly all these accusations are coming out of the woodwork right before the election which raises some serious questions as to their credibility. It's depressing many folks are going after Trump over accusations despite what HRC has defended her husband for what he has been known to do.

It's almost like *GASP* HRC and friends want you to forget their criminal history and associations being exposed by Wikileaks and other avenues! Thanks for assuming my moral character though, if it makes you feel better about your position and your candidate. I for one don't want to see the world baptized in nuclear fire just to spite a big orange meanie who allegedly takes advantage of women. The media and establishment have some Americans so afraid of Trump that said Americans trip over themselves to not see through the charade.

I'm usually at odds with Iron Captain, but this time the guy's right. We have bigger fish to fry here. Educate yourselves.

You find it depressing that American citizens are coming down on Trump over "accusations"? THEY'RE COMING DOWN ON HIM BECAUSE OF WHAT HE'S SAID HE HIMSELF HAS DONE! Do you get the concept of, essentially, an admission of guilt? Do you look at or proof read what you post?
The media and establishment have some Americans afraid? No, it's Trump's own words that have most Americans aghast and his own party abandoning him in droves. Your blame-meter is broke, big time. With Trump, stupid is, as stupid does.
Your continued nuke nonsense isn't getting traction. Move on.

You think Trump will prevent a nuclear apocalypse? I'm not sure I grasp what you are saying? His busy hands are better than Bill Clintons? Whataboutism?

Women should only come forwards at a time more suitable for the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault?

Actually yes, I'm confident he would avoid such a catastrophe. Whataboutism runs strong in this election with all sides accusing the other. All I'm saying here is after all the media and federal collusion against such a populist candidate I'm not surprised that allegations of sexual assault start coming out of nowhere. Fortunately I'm not part of the "Listen and believe" crowd that's been taking the political left spectrum by storm.

You don't have to be part of or swayed by an agenda.

The timing is all on Trump here.

Or it could be that someone sees the hostile reaction to when their attacker does admit to molesting someone, and think that maybe I'll be believed now, or maybe that I'm not actually the only one who experienced this.

Also, that "media collusion" has for the most part just been reporting the exact words which Trump himself used.

It's not the medias fault if people don't like racist, xenophobic, misogynistic donkey-caves who can't keep their mouth shut.

Good. Then don't vote for trump. He's the one who could launch the nukes.

Does anyone else get an ache in their head when the Trump supporter accuses other people of being part of "the Listen and Believe Crowd"?

Seriously?
