I don't even know where to begin with you. Seriously, it's like you're not even trying.
It's very easy, really. Although, maybe you didn't read the rest of my post that you conveniently cut out, since that was the actual point. Or are you even trying?
But, assuming you actually want to engage in honest discourse rather than blithely hand waving away someone you don't agree with, all you need to do is look at the actual party platform. Look at how much they use religion to justify everything. Look at how they fell all over themselves in their race to support Kim Davis. That, right there, flies in the face of the entire nature of the separation of church and state. Do you understand me now, or are you just going to be insultingly dismissive again because you can't be bothered?

The difference is that Barack Obama is at least a decent human being. Donald Trump is not.

I imagine it will be less an interesting night than a strange few years. Whoever wins as this election it still has really played up very strong divides between people. An example is in Georgia where the vast majority of non-white people voted for Clinton and the vast majority of white people voted for Trump. Whether race, education, rural/urban ect these divides were emphasized and no matter who wins each group is still going to exist and have to live with each other afterward.
"May you live in interesting times" indeed.

Yeah, Clinton wouldn't have much of a foot to stand on as an inclusive leader, calling Trump supporters "deplorable". At last look, he's got 2 million more votes then she does. That's a pretty big demographic to personally insult.
We all know Trump's issue with his mouth and pissing people off. Either way, both candidates have done nothing to bridge the gap.

By my figure, Trump is sitting at 258 electoral votes right now.
4 states for a total of 36 could swing his way.

That a bunch of Republicans were ridiculous last time around does not in fact mean that this time around a really awful candidate, and all around awful person, is now very close to winning the Whitehouse.
It seems like this whole campaign has been defined by denial.

My state had a chance to do good for once. And as always, they failed horrifically. I'll be staying up tonight watching the polls. The possibility of Trump in the White House, a Republican Senate and House, and a Republican Supreme Court is too horrifying to think of.
