Ok so this will be my first tournament ever. It is a highlander format with no formations, so kind of for newer/casual players. Any C&C is welcome. Thanks!

The plan is to have the zombies sit back on an objective behind the aegis defense line. Have Typhus and plague marines in the land raider trying to hold the middle while the demon prince summons reinforcements.

HQ

Daemon Prince
Close Combat Weapon, 3x Mastery Level (become Psyker), Nurgle, Wings

Typhus
Warlord

Troops

6 Plague Marines
2x Flamer,
Plague Champion
Bolt Pistol, Plague knife

10 Plague Zombies
Plague Zombie Champion

Fast Attack

Heldrake
Baleflamer

Heavy Support

[FW] Plague Hulk of Nurgle
Iron claw

Chaos Land Raider
Combi-Weapon, Dirge caster, Extra Armour

2 Obliterators
Mark of Nurgle

Fortifications and Stronghold Assault (2013) (Fortification Detachment)
Fortification

Aegis Defense Line

I feel like for a medium sized game, you've got a little bit of everything, but not enough staying power for a full set of game turns. Just far too light on bodies. 20'ish models, half of which being inferior guard, just don't cut it these days without some serious hijinks and trickery, and FNP isn't enough. I'd find a way to get some more bodies on the ground.

I'm going to second all of this. I'd recommend some Nurgle bikers, min size, with meltas. Drop the land raider and give the PM a basic rhino. Stick Typhus with the zombies or a small group of Nurgle spawn and you can use him to scare your enemy and control the board. Sadly, most people are too smart to engage him, so he won't get much action in...But if he does, he will win. Especially if you get Force off.

Alternatively, get a Nurgle biker Lord instead. You'll lose the zombies, but you'll still have PM as troops and you'll actually be able to chase something down. Don't get me wrong, I love Typhus, but between him, the land raider and one squad of PM, you've eaten up almost half your points on a single gambit that might not even pay off.

I'd rather spend those points on more oblits, more bikes, more cultists, more CSM/PM, or even a second heldrake. More bodies on the board, the better. All that being said, if he does get in there and takes out a suped-up chapter master with a single swipe of his Manreaper, boy is that satisfying! Just food for thought, I guess.

Ok thanks for the reply. Mind if I ask how to use the spawn/Typhus combo together? Like I siad I'm new to all this so I'm not exactly sure how to combo the slow character with the fast spawn. Thanks!

Also, I can only take 1 unit of each type since it is a highlander format. So no more heldrake/ oblits
