First off, i have never played a single AoS battle yet, but i will soon get into it as the local gaming club is getting a revive =)

Now, i am pretty shure that nighthaunts prolly aint the best way to start for a brand new player, but i realy dont care. The fluff looks fun and i am a casual player, not a comp player.
But i need some rules help from you dudes and dudettes when it comes to the Black Coach.

After reading the pitched battle profile for the nighthaunts in the generals handbook and the pdf scroll for the black coach, if i understand it correctly, there is no way to level it up??
Text says only death wizard can level up the coach, but there are no death wizards in the nighthaunt profiles.

So is there any point at all to get a black coach for a pure nighthaunt army??

You can add wizards but it moves it to a Death Alliance vs. pure Nighthaunt.

If that is true though, seems wierd they would keep the black coach in the Nighthaunt faction.

Exactly my thoughts too. Why is it in nighthaunts profile if it cant be leveled up in a pure nighthaunt army...
here is the pdf link if this works: https://www.games-workshop.com/resources/PDF/AoS_Warscrolls/aos-warscroll-black-coach-en.pdf

and i cant get any answeres from GW on this matter.
If i email support, they send me a reply saying they cant give answers to rules and gives me the mail to the rules Q&A, but when i send a mail to them, i get this automated reply:

You’ve reached the rules mailbox for Games Workshop - thanks for your email!

We’re not able to respond to each email individually, but we read every one and feed all comments back into making Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 even better.

So even if i want to, i cant get any help from GW.........
and that is why i am posting here.

The master of the black arts command trait will let you have one wizard in the army.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Yeah, this is basically the only way, since the Nighthaunt faction doesn't include any wizards.
