No not Epic.

40k at 6mm scale. It was getting some momentum a while ago.

I've never heard of it. Was this some sort of community/homebrew rule set? Or was it just regular 40k played with tiny models?

Yes to both. I'll do some looking around. I found my epic models and it got me thinking.

It's cute, but I have sausage fingers and it looks to me like moving those figures around would be an even bigger exercise in frustration than normal 40k is for me.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

I would love to but I don't have a source of cheap models nor an old collection of epic or warmaster

Funny idea but right tool for the right job as the saying goes. 6mm is good for BIG battles. 28mm is good for platoon sized games(40k 7th ed is too big for 28mm models though...For that scale somehting like 15mm would be better).

i remember when this guy came out with pocket40k. I feel the problem is how often do you end up in situations where you and you opponent want to play 40k, can't play 40k on a real table but do have the time to play for 2+ hours
