I have just completed a reaver titan after about 3 months of work, but I'm having issues with transportation for it.
I imagine this would be a common problem with this size of model, so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this sort of thing.

For now, I'm thinking the box it came in lined with bubble wrap would suffice, but I'm looking for something a little more protective, I don't want to see anything happen to it.
So, does anyone know any good titan cases out there, or perhaps any good DIY substitutes without spending too much?

Any insight is appreciated.

Well, to start, I have a question. How much transportation do you see it needing? And also what kind? After all something good for a quick car trip is different than something good for say, air travel or extended journeys.

Is the Titan fully built or is it magnetized/capable of breaking down for transport?

That'll help determine what is best.

It won't need to be transported a great deal, maybe a few times a year in the back of a car, but I'd still like to protect it as well as possible.

And yes, it's magnetized at the head and weapons, and the body separates into a few pieces.

In that case, you're on the right track. Having it be able to break down is super important. I think you would be best in finding a box you can place the pieces in (lined with foam/bubble wrap) that allows them enough room so the pieces are not touching or bumping one another. I'd also make sure that when you load it into your car, you make sure it is in a place where it won't be bounced or jarred alot. Heck, if you have a passenger, put their lap to use in holding it.

Alright, thanks. I know it'll fit in the cardboard box it came in, or would you recommend finding something sturdier than a cardboard box?

KR Multicase do Titan cases (https://www.krmulticase.com). From a quick search on their site SM53, SM54 & SM55 are for Reaver Titans.

Another consideration - how well does it fit in your car? Can it stand up? If so a solution might be to not box it, but rather attach it strongly to a heavy base (not permanently). Much in the way you might transport a wedding cake or something. Disassemble the parts you can - bubble wrap them, and then mount the titan legs/body/whatever to a heavy base and place it in the car on some non-skid padding etc.

If it fits in your car without hitting stuff this could be pretty effective, just find a way to anchor it down to the transport base (quick-grips or something).

This is my plan with the Warlord.

Here is what I did for my Thunderhawk.

Contacted KR Multi Case and they sent me a foam insert that they make for it. I then headed to Ikea (to get baby stuff) and noticed they had massive plastic storage tubs that easily fit the foam insert (this thing is 48x48").

I can take my Thunderhawk and full army in one box
